I'm doing our kids a favor by reducing the inventory in our house, so that we The Hubster and I are gone, the kids won't have a huge pile of our stuff to go through.

I like to hear trains too. My Grandparents lived on Railroad Avenue and we would watch the trains go by and waive to the conductors (sometimes they threw candy). At my home in Maryland, we could hear the train and here in Georgia we are right near various train tracks. In fact, one train track runs right next to the church I attend and will whistle during service. One of the other members mentioned that the sound of the train reminds him of the Shofar in ancient Israel which was blown for the people to assemble to hear from God. So, he remembers that when he hears a train whistle to focus on God for a moment.
