- Review and try-on of the Louis Vuitton 'Brea' tote in the GM size. A good contender if you are considering the Louis Vuitton Alma or Montaigne bags. This GM size in Brea (as of Feb 2016) is no longer in production, instead, the PM & MM sizes are available. This is a beautiful tote in the Louis Vuitton Vernis leather, I have the colour 'Poudre Beige'. i give you the pros/cons and tell you my verdict on whether it's worth buying. Hi Sophie. I have never been a fan of LV handbags, but I really like the look of this design and the material.
However, I'm not liking the straps being on opposite sides and the twisting when it is closed😐.

In 2012 I bought my LV BREA gm in black patent I remember how much I used to love this bag but now since the fashion has changed and shifted toward small bags i sold my handbag this month. The thing with the GM size that it was too big for my size and I also grew out of it and its style.
Hi there, i m hunting the same bag as yours in ebay..i need to get it clear before goin into buying a high price bag. may i ask a few questions about the golden hardware?
1) Does the "D ring" that is used to connect the hook of the strap with the bag being engraved with words?
2) Does the square rings that hold the handle of the bag being engraved for words from both left and right side?

the material lets me wipe the bag in a hot and humid country;
the bag seems at least size A4;
there is the security of a zip;
the colour is lovely and neutral.

Hey Judi, it is a good bag! You could try Vestiaire Collective - they are one place I frequent that are pretty good. Or you could try eBay, but you run the risk of being sold a fake. My general rule of thumb on there is to only buy if there's a receipt with the item (unless it's a vintage piece, in which case this is not always possible). Also try designer exchange shops (Google search for them, there is one in London I've heard is good) Good luck 😊 xx😘❤️✌🏽️

LV bag prices seriously do go up every day, it's crazy! But I can understand why they do it, since people still keep buying their bags anyway lol
Love the kind of holographic color of this bag. Nevertheless I wouldn't buy it. I think these designer bags are not worth the money and I don't like having things, because they show wealth. Probably I would wear the same bag, just because of the design, but without the logos. Nevertheless I really appreciate your honest opinion on these bags, Sophie.
