What do i do if the powerwash/factory reset doesnt do anything and my keys are still messed up
If you test it like he suggested it should show you what keys works n doesn't that's what mine showed me unless you don't have a touch screen computer.
None my keys are working in the test so what do I do?

After i press diagnostics i dont have a keyboard button. The only options which come up after pressing diagnostics is system and connectivity. Please help im a university student its urgent thank you

I power washed and my keys are still messed up
I'm did that and then l left it for 4 days and it started working
The power button does not work for me and even remapping the keys to an external one does not leave the power on/off option
Thank you for helping me my 1 year old child ruined my keyboard so I guess for now ill have to use the on screen keyboard till I can afford a new laptop I've had this laptop for 3 years now just breaks my heart knowing I have to get a new one because I've factory reset my laptop and it still didn't work but thank you for helping me figure out the problem with this one so I will have to throw it away. 😔😪

Is this problem pure from software/update or from the hardware .. ?
Bcs i rarely used it and last time i used long ago it works fine including keyboard and last night i do the update and the keyboard is not working for some button ie. ESC, brightness and volume button, G and H, etc.

Sir, I am a new Chromebook user. In the past 6 months, I had a problem with the keyboard twice. The left shift suddenly stopped working normally. Then the letters became all capital. Even the number buttons couldn't display numbers. My only attempt was a powerwash. I've changed accounts three times. The previous two Google accounts couldn't make the keyboard work normally. I'm still figuring out what I did wrong, causing a problem on the keyboard. The previous google accounts connect with my smartphones, and I actively use both phones. The current account I use for my Chromebook doesn`t connect to any phone. Do I have to create a new Google account every time I have a keyboard problem? (I am using Lenovo 100e chromebook 2nd Gen AST) I have run the diagnostic for my keyboard and it shows that all keys work well for now. I am worried if it happens again in the future. I feel my keyboard is being possessed by something. :D

i need help with my keyboard. for some reason my 'o' key would randomly be capitalized, my left shift button would show use the '>' symbol & i'm getting frustrated. i factory restarted my chromebook and still to no avail
It is of no use instead all downloads are deleted and signed in accounts are out
My keyboard sometimes works, and sometimes doesn't. Resetting it sometimes works, and sometimes doesn't. But when it's not working, I can't even click "test" on the diagnostics. I'm stuck on what to do from here please help.

THIS DOES NOT WORK. IF YOU HAVE A LENOVO CHROME BOOK AND YOUR KEYBOARD STOPS WORKING, THE RIBBON CABLE INSIDE THE KEYBOARD IS BROKEN. YOU MUST REPLACE THE KEYBOARD
