My husband (Retired Army) was the same way, he never noticed the beauty of Fall or the beautiful lights for Christmas until I met him. We are going out this weekend son and doggy in tow. Fun times

Thank you for taking us with you to see the Christmas lights! Our neighborhood is very lit up and pretty. And we have a drive through display over several acres nearby where all you bring to pay are canned goods for the food pantry. You all cheer me up! 🎄🎅🎄

Awesome video the lights were beautiful!! My husband and I do this every Christmas as well, we will be going out tonight to another location to see the lights. Loved the lights glad to see you all do fun things together. Just went with my grown children and grandchildren to drive through the lights were we live in VA. I don't know who enjoyed it more me or the grandchildren.
The Don is a Master of all things manly, the Nativity is beautiful 😍. Our family has been doing a evening of what we call Tacky Lights for over 40 years now. We pack up cookies, snacks, drinks, and quilts for a evening of family fun. We rented a mini bus service once our DDs married and started blessing us with Grandkids as part of our Christmas gifts to them. Our family has grown so much over the years we needed a full size bus....so that tradition had to stop. Now we meet and go in our separate cars to tour around. Peggi Starbucks has a overpriced Carmel Cider drink that’s really good, don’t know the name of it but they always figure it out when I ask. Thanks as always for sharing

I like the simple more than the gaudy. Beautiful work Don :) In our stocking we got an orange and some nuts and candy and then maybe a chapstick or something small. Belleville, ILL. has some beautiful lights at Christmas but I don't know if they do this year. I don't see why they wouldn't. They aren't too far from you.
Every year when I was young we would get a dozen of ♨️HOT Krispy Kreme doughnuts and hot chocolate and rode around looking at all the Christmas lights in certain neighborhoods .. good times! Have a blessed Christmas all! Be safe!

I used to work at Starbucks and I could never remember the Mocha drinks. I would always wind up saying Mocha Choca something. I absolutely love this time of year. The lights are always sooo beautiful!

We have neighborhoods here that do all white lights , outlining everything in the yards and at the streets they all out candy canes...for blocks...we call it candy cane lane...
