I have 2 things I wanted to mention after watching this:: I did not see an o-ring go in there, I have heard it helps to stop oozing oil out a wrong place, and secondly, I didn't see any oil or lube on the drum bearing....
Never have put the o-ring in there, and never had any issues not using one. The clutch drum bearing is not that difficult to get to with an inboard clutch, if it would have been an outboard clutch it would have had something put on it.
I didn't line up the clutch drum with the oil pump drive thing.

Looked to me like one of the screws that holds the oil pump on was stripped, didn't look like it ever got tight like the first screw you put in.😮
I ended up using the heli-coil but put it on video.

The pinion on my 372 is chewed up on the side that sits against the washer on the bearing. What do you think caused that?
It sounds like maybe the bearing was changed or the seal, and somebody has smacked the crankshaft with probably a socket.
