Wow this video is pure nostalgic for my Generation. In the 1980's we were teenagers. In the 1990's we were now entering our 20's. We knew this could be OUR decade & change Pop Culture. We did the Underground music scene became mainstream. Alternative Rock, Shoegazer, Goth, Punk, Industrial, Electronic & it's fashion became the norm. Pushing away 80's Pop, New Wave, Glam Rock & Old hippy classic Rock, until 1998 when Pop music returned. Thanx to Spice Girls, Britney & N'Sync.
America Shoegaze / Dream-Pop was great too. Drop Nineteens, Velocity Girl, Dinosaur Jr, Swirlies, Lilys, Majesty Crush, Astrobrite, Lovesliescrushing, Belly, Galaxy 500, and many more I can't remember in this old head of mine. I first heard Drop Nineteens on Pete and Pete
it sounds like my college town in summer, when it’s hot, quiet, and all the other students are gone. Some people you know are still around, but most are gone.
Can’t believe I hadn’t heard of this band until a couple days ago. Been playing the Delaware album non-stop. So many good songs! Including a cover of Madonna’s “Angel”, which somehow works amazingly.
This song is a distant memory from my childhood. What’s strange is I’m wearing the lead singers exact t-shirt as I write this comment. Shirt pocket and all.
When you finish putting your make up on, growing your hair, choosing your outfit and yalking crap, how about you actually play some fkn music??? 30 years ago, I was constantly told Shoegaze was dead. Time puts everything and everyone in its rightful place! The few, the proud...The Shoegazers!!!
I was 22 in 1992 when they played this non stop in the Camden Palace. Fucking killer song.
MTV playing music - artists playing instruments - great music - oh the memories
Life doesn't get better than this ❤
Didn't . ; )
Found this band just a few months ago and this song feels already so nostalgic.
Same here ! Great shoegaze, indie vibe.
I feel ya! I heard it 30 years ago and I bet we feel the same! Never too late to gaze!

Such a pure and lovely melody. I'm extremely glad to have found this at the age of 19, it makes the experience somehow special.
Wow, not being the 90's Generation ?
And styled like how we grew up ?

This could’ve been on The Adventures of Pete & Pete.
That's how I discovered this band.

@@swishfamilyrobinson9949 The intro to Delaware by Drop Nineteens was used in Pete & Pete all the time. Not this song though.
