Legacy from MMLP2 was what really introduced me to Em. Thanks Bray Wyatt vs John Cena (wasn’t really raised into rap I knew some of the classics but that song caused the deep dive)
I listened to it recently and i was blown away... It's like 20 songs and he has only 3-4 that are bad( big weenie-rain man-my 1st single) the rest are a great listen.

Honestly I think "Infinite" is Eminem's most underrated album, it sounds like a midnight drive while chilling out listening to underground jazz rap from a local AM radio station
It's too bad Murder Murder couldn't make it onto SSLP. It might be his best song he has ever written and most of his fans will never hear it. It's just sitting on SSEP and neither that or Infinite are likely to ever make it to streaming.
Idc what no one says! Revival is Eminem’s only bad album if you ask me. I enjoy every other project he’s dropped even Encore (which did have some flaws), but obv his SSLP, MMLP, & TES are his best albums.
I'm glad you showed some love to the Bad Meets Evil project. Completely agree, I wish we got more of it. Or even a modern Em/Royce album. Royce brings out the best in Em imo.
I was very curious where TDOSS would rank, and I think number 6 is a perfect place for it. I'm surprised Fuel didn't make the top three tbh, and I strongly disagree with you on Bad One, but otherwise I agree with this more in depth analysis of the album.
bro, it's the first time i saw em holding his face on the revival album cover.... How did i not see it before???😂 i feel dumb Adding on, Farewell is a "masterpiece" (i actually like to sing along the hooks and it's easy to rap😅) Adding on again, Road rage imo is one of the most enjoyable tracks, the hook is energetic and the verses are mellow and easy to listen to... Em just glides flawlessly, the theme of the song is a bit cringy but it's a matter of thought-alignment matter
Right? Tho for Ultra 85 he said he'd probably give it a 7/10, So I wouldn't expect him to rank it that high on his list, Tho IMO it's tied with No Pressure for his 3rd best album.
Nice Guy is like nails on a chalkboard and possibly Eminem's worst song ever alongside My 1st Single, but I think Good Guy is a pretty decent track. I think it sounds good, I think they should've kept good guy as their collab, scrap nice guy, and call it a day.
Good list, but since you included Shady XV and Hell The sequel you should have included The Re-Up and D12's albums as well. Also I will always love Encore, lol. To me the only bad songs are Big Weenie, My 1st single, A$$ like that and Rain man, the rest is great and the bonus tracks too.
The video got me excited to revisit a lot of Em's work with how toy broke down the albums here even with the short amount of time you spoke abt them man, the video was great as always. Also I want to touch on 2 things: I wanna say that with eminem show being my fav too I really think that the inclusion of bump heads in the expanded edition was great addition as a bonus track. And I was hoping that you would have commented something about forever being in relapse refill if you have something to say about it
ems last two albums (three if you include mtbmb side b) are a breath of fresh air from the revival/kamikaze era. i think they’re genuinely pretty great

Just gonna say this as a fan of Eminem, nobody would blame you for shitting all over everything he’s put out. It’s common practice nowadays to take the worst that M has made and blow it out of proportion and make it seem like everything he’s ever done is garbage. But I applaud that even in the midst of his worst projects, you actually take the time to talk about some stuff that is good. That’s what I think sets you apart from literally every other music reviewer on this platform!

To Revival's credit tho it still has songs on it that i like, but half of the album i dont wanna ever listen to again.
I remember the doubt people had before Recovery and most thought Eminem couldn’t adapt to the mainstream at the time. Recovery was like a breathe of fresh air.
Something I wanted to mention, "Love You More" and "We As Americans" are great songs from the Deluxe Edition of Encore that probably should've made the original cut.
See I actually think Relapse is Eminem’s worst album over Revival. Contrary to popular opinion I don’t mind a lot of the pop features on Revival like Ed Sheeran and X Ambassadors, and I personally don’t mind the way songs like Untouchable River sound (The former actually makes a lot of sense that the first part of the song sounds vulgar and has rock production), there definitely are a fair few misses on the project though especially Remind Me and Heat. Relapse to me on the other hand is either ruined by weird accents (Though some of them work for certain songs) or Eminem just rambling into oblivion and rhyming words for the sake of it like on Hello or Underground, the only songs I think are great on it are Beautiful, Deja Vu and Same Song And Dance.
I know I am DEFINITELY in the minority when I say this, but I actually do like Revival and Encore to be honest. Am I saying they're perfect, or that every song is peak? Hell no. But in the case of Revival, I don't mind the poppyness of it, though I do agree some of the flows are really bad. In fact, I kinda knew you were referring to Chloraseptic when you said "bad flows" without you even having to say the name of the song. But I do really like the 3 ending tracks, as well as Walk On Water, River, and even Nowhere Fast and Need Me. Would've included Offended but it has a really bad hook. Plus Encore is really nostalgic to me, and even though some songs are paint-chuggingly stupid, they can sometimes get a laugh out of me. Definitely not peak Em, but a really fun one, and even the songs that aren't dumb are really good. Never Enough, Like Toy Soldiers, and One Shot 2 Shot in particular. Kinda wish some of the bonus editions songs made it onto the main album though, like Love You More and We As Americans.
I think you really skipped over Alfred’s theme, it is one of Eminem’s best wordplay songs of all time. Breakdown videos of it reach an hour. Absolutely insane
My list (I don't care about lyrics the most, since I don't understand a lot of the words he says when he raps. also english is my second language. btw I'm rating Mtmb as one.) 14. Encore (3.5/10) 13. Infinite (5/10) 12. Revival (5/10) 11. Recovery (6/10) 10. Relapse (6.25/10) 9. Kamikaze (7/10) 8. Death of Slim (7.25/10) 7. ShadyXV (7.25/10) 6. MTMB (7.75-8/10) 5. Shady LP (8/10) 4. MMLP (8.25/10) 3. Eminem Show (9/10) 2. MMLP2. (9.5/10) 1. Bad meets Evil (10/10) Know that I haven't listened through every album entirely but I'm sure if I did the upper half wouldn't change.
Here's my ranking:just know I haven't heard ShadyXV and Hell The Sequel.Even though I don't think imma count em' in this ranking. 13.Encore 12.Revival 11.Kamikaze 10.Music To Be Murdered By:Side A 9.Recovery 8.Music To Be Murdered By:Side B 7.The Death Of Slim Shady 6.Relapse 5.Marshall Mathers LP 2 4.The Eminem Show 3.The Slim Shady LP 2.Infinite(call me crazy, but I think this project is so underrated) 1.The Marshall Mathers LP
I do appreciate that Relapse has gotten more love since it came out. I was starting college around then (you youngin') and I remember really vibing with it while all of my friends didn't care for it. Its reputation at the time was that it was inconsistent and all over the place, and I'm vindicated by hearing you say it's more cohesive than my friends at the time thought. I'll admit nothing has matched his early run and I haven't been too enthusiastic since he's been more consciously pop in his production, but he still has his moments. The new one's probably my favorite in at least a decade if just because it feels like he has ideas instead of grievances that he's working through.
Here my Ranking Worst to Best in my opinion (for September 28th 2024. It’s can be changed in the future) Also i gonna include side projects like Hell The Sequel, Shady XV, The D12 Projects and The Re-Up, also i gonna make MTBMB as a one project: Encore Revival D12 World Devil Nights Infinite The Slim Shady LP Relapse Refill The Re-Up MTBMB Shady XV The Death of Slim Shady MMLP MMLP2 Kamikaze The Eminem Show Hell The Sequel Recovery
For me he has the best discography of all...i find it weird when they say mtbmb or encore or even kamikaze are bad albums...meanwhile it's difficult to find 9 great songs on one album from other projects if u think about it.
W for TES>MMLP. I feel like alot of ppl side more with mmlp, & tbh i just cant see it lol. TES is just as good thematically, has way better production, better flows, way more consistent tracklist, better rapping, & better tracklist
For me, MTBMB is his 2nd worst album after Revival, not counting ShadyXV as I don't view that as a full album. There is almost no correlation to the "Music to be Murdered By" theme besides a couple skits and a few samples. The lack of coherency to the theme alone kills it for me, as my expectations for the kind of album I was expecting was totally derailed. I don't enjoy most of the features on this and I think there are just way too many. I don't think there is an overall theme to the album and it feels like a ton of fillers put together. The highs in Encore were so high that some songs like Mockingbird and Like Toy Soldiers make up for the awful songs in my opinion.
I feel like the ranking of encore is unfair, when you highlighted the "horrendous middle section" it was only 3 songs, but 2 skits were there as well, every other song outside of those 3, and ass like that, i think are all either good or great including the bonus tracks so thats 4 bad songs and 15 good songs, and even when you highlighted the songs you said were good that bookended the middle section, that was many more songs than the songs not highlighted, also mosh is great stop sleeping on it lol
a contridiction you said was, mmlp2 was the most recent album last time i ranked the, yet you said that last time you throught encore was worse than revival (revival came out after mmlp2) i might just be stupid, idk i didnt understand
Im glad u showed Seduction some love. You and Soul n Stereo are the only guys who I have seen said it needs more love. Im surprised u didnt mention 313 on Infinite tho I think that is one of the best songs on the album. Even tho Encore is a mediocre album the bonus tracks make it slightly better imo. Deja Vu is definitely one of Eminem addiction songs and one of the best off the album. Im glad u love Bad Meets Evil as much as I do bc its another great song that needs more love. I love at the end they say see you in hell for the sequel and later u get the album from them. I also agree drips isnt that bad as people make it out to be.
Idk if it's just me but Encore is in my top 5 Em albums, I get that for the most part it was childish but I actually like those songs because they're fun to listen to and the more serious songs especially Mockingbird really hit home, it's not his best I think Kamikaze especially is miles above but for what it was it is just a fun album that I revisit fairly often.
In all honesty I think sslp is his most overated album ever. Its really not that good and for me I would have put it at behind kamikaze. Also I would have included the re up personally. And im sorry but infinite is not better than encore and revival. Infinite has one good song and even then that song is choppy and has terrible production. Encore at least has humor and a beautiful song in mockingbird along with revival having one of if not his saddest song for me being Arose

It’s can be changed in the future)
Also i gonna include side projects like Hell The Sequel, Shady XV, The D12 Projects and The Re-Up, also i gonna make MTBMB as a one project:
Encore
Revival
D12 World
Devil Nights
Infinite
The Slim Shady LP
Relapse Refill
The Re-Up
MTBMB
Shady XV
The Death of Slim Shady
MMLP
MMLP2
Kamikaze
The Eminem Show
Hell The Sequel
Recovery
For me he has the best discography of all...i find it weird when they say mtbmb or encore or even kamikaze are bad albums...meanwhile it's difficult to find 9 great songs on one album from other projects if u think about it.
W for TES>MMLP. I feel like alot of ppl side more with mmlp, & tbh i just cant see it lol. TES is just as good thematically, has way better production, better flows, way more consistent tracklist, better rapping, & better tracklist
regarding "Kamikaze", "Good Guy" isn't a horrible song by any means lol
Honestly encore is underrated, it's better than revival, kamekaze, mtbmb, ect.
Love your videos but I can't comprehend putting kamikaze above infinite lol
Recovery is easily his worst and revival is decent. Kamikaze is easily his best ever
a contridiction you said was, mmlp2 was the most recent album last time i ranked the, yet you said that last time you throught encore was worse than revival (revival came out after mmlp2)
i might just be stupid, idk i didnt understand
Great ranking man!!! Finally someone who doesn't rank the original MTBMB in the bottom 3 or 4😂. Love the video! Thank you 👍
Im glad u showed Seduction some love.
Idk if it's just me but Encore is in my top 5 Em albums, I get that for the most part it was childish but I actually like those songs because they're fun to listen to and the more serious songs especially Mockingbird really hit home, it's not his best I think Kamikaze especially is miles above but for what it was it is just a fun album that I revisit fairly often.
unrelated to Eminem but I know you sometimes read comments, honestly I really like this lighting and think it looks pretty professional youtuber-esque
Rainman is funny good it doesn’t deserve to be in the worst category but Puke is just disgusting
