It can definitely be daunting at first because there's so much information to learn! That's great you're getting into your birthchart because that's the perfect place to begin your planetary magick practice. Either that, or moon phases! I’m the opposite I think, when it comes to planetary hours and days. I usually don’t have the patience to wait for the day so I use the hour instead 😂😂 but most of the time I try to use both! I love this vid! Planetary magick is the ish!!!
Nice, this is similar to how I use planetary magic! I'll use the corresponding day and turn my LED lights the colour that matches, and sometimes use corresponding herbs or crystals. I didn't think to also weave in the element, so I will definitely try that. Oh, and I also use Sailor Moon dolls from my childhood 🙈💫 Thanks for sharing!

I can try to help anyone who might be curious and new to astrology ❤ My suggestion to anyone who might be curious about this is to not rely on cute apps to tell you what your transits mean. Even the “tough love” astro apps seem to sugarcoat and generalize too much. Remember, you are not just your sun sign. You have an entire chart of different things that seem to contradict each other. Humans and their lives are complicated things. We go through phases and have mood swings. Planets move into different houses and aspects throughout our lives, and this influences things in your birth chart. Get your birth time, as accurate as possible, to the minute. Birth certificate, parents, and hospital records should have this. You’re entitled to your own hospital records, so get the birth time even if you have to go that route. It really is important. Enter your data on a website, and print your chart. You want to know your planets, the houses they’re in, ascendant/descendant, lunar nodes, chiron, etc. Next, you want to familiarize yourself with what each planet represents. If you read tarot, you can associate a card with each one (ie. Pluto-death/rebirth, Mars-chariot/warrior). There’s no rules, just learn what the celestial bodies mean and choose the card that works for you. This is just a visual to help with memorization. Now, learn the 12 houses. 1-6 is the self. 7-12 is the other/integration. Each house has a ruler, and you can have more than one planet in a house. You can also not have any planets in a house. That’s okay. Know the aspects. Some are harmonious, others are contradictory. The difficult ones are meant to bring you a learning experience. When you look at your transits, make sure you’re on a website that allows you to input your location at the time of whichever transit/date you are curious about. I use astro seek, but there are others. Where you are and the timing of things is important, because astrology puts you at the center of the chart, as opposed to the Sun being in the center. So instead of thinking of the solar system as it is, you have to think of your physical body as the center of everything, and that the stars are moving around you as an individual. Some stars move FAST, while others move slow. The fast ones can change up aspects with the slower ones. Once you learn the basics, you will be able to just look at someone’s chart and see things about them without having to read the interpretation 😊

I love planetary magic! I’ve always used the planetary hours as they are the “quickest” access to the planetary energy, pairing it with the day (or mixing & matching!) if possible. I’m mostly a planetary witch because I started studying astrology about six years, before I realized my inner witch. I also practice with herbs, trees, moonology and storms. I’m glad you mentioned rest and rejuvenation - all these things lend themselves to an active/lazy constitution such as my own. “Know thyself”. 🌹

I reading Journey to the Dark Goddess at the moment and I'm almost halfway through it. These videos are always nice to watch and go back to if needed. I always loved the planets and astrology, but it wasn’t until recently when I started exploring my Italian heritage that I really got into it. It could have something to do with the Roman pantheon being the planets lol. But either way, it’s been a really powerful experience for me already. I really appreciate you making these videos! You give me so many ideas of how I can incorporate things into my practice 💚
i dig planetary magick for the same reasons as you, but i enjoy using the hours for more mundane things as well as spellwork. for example, when to send emails, or if i have to drive across town when to leave, or when to start a project, etc... i just use a simple online planetary hours calculator-no confusing charts or anything. -and wow, a two-year election for your wedding day, that's wild! awesome! -thank you as always, peace!

I love planetary magic!! Right now I'm trying to mix my natal chart info with planetary magic. (Ie, my mercury is ruled by cancer, so for a communication spell I might actually focus on a Monday and use the lunar energy associated with cancer if mercury isn't in a great position)
I've been working with planetary Magick, during the planet of the Zodiac depends on the Spell I'm doing. I haven't done the hours, cause I get confused on the timing zones and math per se, but I might try to look into this year. This was a great informative video and Thank You as always.
Planetary hours can definitely be confusing! I think there's a lot of calculators online that can figure that out for you but I'm so lazy I just don't do them at all anymore unless I have to 😂 And thank you!!
Aw I love how far you planned out your wedding day! That's going to be so special. We winged it, literally picked a random date when my mom was in town and his brother didn't have another wedding to attend. I should go back and look at what was happening that day with the planets. You might have incredible drive to accomplish all the things you want to accomplish! How's your temper? Are you quick to get angry? I'm so curious now 😂 I was born on a Wednesday and I totally relate to Mercury. But we also have to factor in our chart rulers and all the chart influences as well. Maybe there are forces in your chart that are way stronger than you being born on a Tuesday! I'm confused: it sounds like you also have Mars in Gemini...and Mars is still in Gemini until the 25th so technically (or at least by the way I practice) your Mars return would still be in effect until the last time Mars exits the sign of your Natal Mars. Do you follow returns according to a different method?
I do like to work with planetary magic some. But, not as much as I should. I mainly work with Thursday and Jupiter for my money magic. I would like to ask you what planet and day would be best for working with my health and longevity?
That's a great question! I do all my healing spells with Solar energy because the sun is our life bringer. The sun is all about vitality, our Will, our health and longevity, our ego... Sunday is ruled by the sun so I usually do my healing spells on Sundays! Though, it also depends what sort of health issues you're dealing with. For example, mental health might be better suited for Mercury. Chronic fatigue syndrome might be better suited for Mars because Mars rules over our energy levels, our drive, etc. Reproductive issues might be better suited for Venus... Etc. But in general, I'd say the sun is great for any kind of healing spell and it's very holistic!

Mars in my natal theme is retrograde … I spend my life being tired but but but : I found the solution ! I tape into my Leo (moon sun sidereal chart) energy and guess what ! I found back the energy I use to felt in my childhood ! My magnetism came back I’m electric even lol but it’s not stable I still working to manage it :) there is always a solution in the stars
Hi Ivy i have seen videos of planetary grids for Sigil s, i use the Saturn grid , nos 1- 9. What im not sure about is how would you use one of the larger grids say Moon or Sun if only using 1-9? It could work but the higher nos would not be used. I may be missing something here! Thanks for the video x
You are correct, higher numbers 1-9 would not be used! However, the numbers 1-9 are in different places depending on the grid, so the sigil does turn out looking different depending on the planet. You can also use a system that doesn't reduce your letters to numbers 1-9. Instead, you can convert the English alphabet to numbers 1-26. But honestly... That's way too much work in my opinion. 😂 Different languages have different conversions. I think when the planetary grids were created, they were originally used by the Latin language, not English. My history on this is a little fuzzy so don't quote me. But if you are using modern day English, I'd just stick to numbers 1-9 and it will still come out looking different!

I have been into astrology since I was very young, so magic and astrology together is amazing to me😊✨🥰 I have a question, that I was hoping someone could help me with; I want to do a long-term spell for getting rid of endometriosis and having a healthy and normal menstrual cycle. Which phase of the moon is most effective for this kind of spellwork, and should I work with both the Sun and the Moon? Any tips on type of spell would also be very helpful 😊 19:28
Ohh what a good question! So I also don't have a healthy and normal menstrual cycle. I don't have endometriosis but I do have other reproductive health issues. I have personally found Venus to be extremely helpful when working with women's health! I'd recommend working with the Sun and Venus if possible. If you really wanted to work with the moon though, I'd say it depends on your perspective. If you are focusing on getting rid of something, definitely use the waning moon. But if you are forcing on bringing in new health and vitality, definitely work with the waxing moon! As far as spell ideas go... You can actually get a candle shaped like a uterus and do some candle magick around that! Or, do you have a poppet of yourself? Make a poppet of yourself and then pin some healing herbs (that correlate to women's health) onto the sacral chakra of the poppet. Those are things I have done so far and it's been really helping me! I actually got my period to start after 6 months of not having a period, just by using my poppet. Pretty cool!

I listened to an audibook by a witch who said she got rid of all her menstrual problems, but she never mentioned how... I'm feeling sure it's possible to be done something with, I've just resigned to my 14 days period with a lot pain and migraines and all kinds unnecessary troubles for almost 13 years , and I have now decided enough is enough! I will go with the Sun and Venus if you think it's the best choice, I was just thinking the Moon ruled the menstrual cycle. I was also in doubt about if a manifesting health spell during a waxing moon would be better than a banishing health problem spell during waning moon would be most effective. @@jannickestefansen4688 you are totally right... I COMPLETELY spaced on the fact that the moon affects menstrual cycles! I agree with you; the moon could be a great option too! Maybe the moon and Venus instead of the sun? As far as waxing versus waning... When it comes to health, I prefer to focus on bringing in healing rather than banishing the illness. If it were me, I'd rather work with the waxing moon and really focus on the areas that need to be healed. But I definitely don't think there's any wrong answer here. Maybe do both types of spells and see which one you like better?

Yes! I love AstroMatrix. It's great for understanding your own birthchart but it also shows you the current position of the planets as well as interpretations which is great for a beginner. The only thing they don't have is retrogrades. For that, I use an app called "Retrogrades" by MSC. I have yet to find an app that does it all
I don't know that planetary magic would help me. Having chronic pain, my energy and pain levels are based more on weather changes. I have kept a diary of my pain, which directly corresponds to my sleep and energy, and have noticed patterns there. Of course I can't plan years or even months in advance that way, but I do know that winter, early spring and late fall are my peak time for pain levels and lack of sleep and energy. If I add planets, I would never get anything done, both magic and mundane! I can barely keep up with moon phases in the colder, wetter months.
Planetary Magick is definitely not for everyone and I totally understand why some people don't practice it! It's very structured and that doesn't work for all walks of life ❤️

I love planetary magic!! Right now I'm trying to mix my natal chart info with planetary magic. (Ie, my mercury is ruled by cancer, so for a communication spell I might actually focus on a Monday and use the lunar energy associated with cancer if mercury isn't in a great position)
I've been working with planetary Magick, during the planet of the Zodiac depends on the Spell I'm doing. I haven't done the hours, cause I get confused on the timing zones and math per se, but I might try to look into this year. This was a great informative video and Thank You as always.
Planetary hours can definitely be confusing! I think there's a lot of calculators online that can figure that out for you but I'm so lazy I just don't do them at all anymore unless I have to 😂 And thank you!!
Aw I love how far you planned out your wedding day! That's going to be so special. We winged it, literally picked a random date when my mom was in town and his brother didn't have another wedding to attend. I should go back and look at what was happening that day with the planets. You might have incredible drive to accomplish all the things you want to accomplish! How's your temper? Are you quick to get angry? I'm so curious now 😂 I was born on a Wednesday and I totally relate to Mercury. But we also have to factor in our chart rulers and all the chart influences as well. Maybe there are forces in your chart that are way stronger than you being born on a Tuesday! I'm confused: it sounds like you also have Mars in Gemini...and Mars is still in Gemini until the 25th so technically (or at least by the way I practice) your Mars return would still be in effect until the last time Mars exits the sign of your Natal Mars. Do you follow returns according to a different method?

I do like to work with planetary magic some. But, not as much as I should. I mainly work with Thursday and Jupiter for my money magic. I would like to ask you what planet and day would be best for working with my health and longevity?
That's a great question! I do all my healing spells with Solar energy because the sun is our life bringer. The sun is all about vitality, our Will, our health and longevity, our ego... Sunday is ruled by the sun so I usually do my healing spells on Sundays! Though, it also depends what sort of health issues you're dealing with. For example, mental health might be better suited for Mercury. Chronic fatigue syndrome might be better suited for Mars because Mars rules over our energy levels, our drive, etc. Reproductive issues might be better suited for Venus... Etc. But in general, I'd say the sun is great for any kind of healing spell and it's very holistic!

Mars in my natal theme is retrograde … I spend my life being tired but but but : I found the solution ! I tape into my Leo (moon sun sidereal chart) energy and guess what ! I found back the energy I use to felt in my childhood ! My magnetism came back I’m electric even lol but it’s not stable I still working to manage it :) there is always a solution in the stars
Hi Ivy i have seen videos of planetary grids for Sigil s, i use the Saturn grid , nos 1- 9. What im not sure about is how would you use one of the larger grids say Moon or Sun if only using 1-9? It could work but the higher nos would not be used. I may be missing something here! Thanks for the video x
You are correct, higher numbers 1-9 would not be used! However, the numbers 1-9 are in different places depending on the grid, so the sigil does turn out looking different depending on the planet. You can also use a system that doesn't reduce your letters to numbers 1-9. Instead, you can convert the English alphabet to numbers 1-26. But honestly... That's way too much work in my opinion. 😂 Different languages have different conversions. I think when the planetary grids were created, they were originally used by the Latin language, not English. My history on this is a little fuzzy so don't quote me. But if you are using modern day English, I'd just stick to numbers 1-9 and it will still come out looking different!

I have a question, that I was hoping someone could help me with; I want to do a long-term spell for getting rid of endometriosis and having a healthy and normal menstrual cycle. Which phase of the moon is most effective for this kind of spellwork, and should I work with both the Sun and the Moon? Any tips on type of spell would also be very helpful 😊 19:28
Ohh what a good question! So I also don't have a healthy and normal menstrual cycle. I don't have endometriosis but I do have other reproductive health issues. I have personally found Venus to be extremely helpful when working with women's health! I'd recommend working with the Sun and Venus if possible.
If you really wanted to work with the moon though, I'd say it depends on your perspective. If you are focusing on getting rid of something, definitely use the waning moon. But if you are forcing on bringing in new health and vitality, definitely work with the waxing moon!
As far as spell ideas go... You can actually get a candle shaped like a uterus and do some candle magick around that! Or, do you have a poppet of yourself? Make a poppet of yourself and then pin some healing herbs (that correlate to women's health) onto the sacral chakra of the poppet. Those are things I have done so far and it's been really helping me! I actually got my period to start after 6 months of not having a period, just by using my poppet. Pretty cool!

I'm feeling sure it's possible to be done something with, I've just resigned to my 14 days period with a lot pain and migraines and all kinds unnecessary troubles for almost 13 years , and I have now decided enough is enough!
I will go with the Sun and Venus if you think it's the best choice, I was just thinking the Moon ruled the menstrual cycle.

@@jannickestefansen4688 you are totally right... I COMPLETELY spaced on the fact that the moon affects menstrual cycles! I agree with you; the moon could be a great option too! Maybe the moon and Venus instead of the sun?
As far as waxing versus waning... When it comes to health, I prefer to focus on bringing in healing rather than banishing the illness. If it were me, I'd rather work with the waxing moon and really focus on the areas that need to be healed. But I definitely don't think there's any wrong answer here. Maybe do both types of spells and see which one you like better?

Yes! I love AstroMatrix. It's great for understanding your own birthchart but it also shows you the current position of the planets as well as interpretations which is great for a beginner. The only thing they don't have is retrogrades. For that, I use an app called "Retrogrades" by MSC. I have yet to find an app that does it all

I don't know that planetary magic would help me. Having chronic pain, my energy and pain levels are based more on weather changes. I have kept a diary of my pain, which directly corresponds to my sleep and energy, and have noticed patterns there. Of course I can't plan years or even months in advance that way, but I do know that winter, early spring and late fall are my peak time for pain levels and lack of sleep and energy. If I add planets, I would never get anything done, both magic and mundane! I can barely keep up with moon phases in the colder, wetter months.
Planetary Magick is definitely not for everyone and I totally understand why some people don't practice it! It's very structured and that doesn't work for all walks of life ❤️
