I used to be good friends with the guy who Utah Jazz Bear from 2004 to 2009... he got paid well. Over 250 thousand a year. Not rich, but good pay. And that was back in 2009. Now days, I would guess some mascots make up to $400,000 a year, maybe more. He was also a world class gymnast (most pro mascots are good gymnasts).
For the batman mascot: The San Antonio Spurs actually had a bat invade the court during a game. Manu Ginobli smacked it right out of the air, so that's probably what the bit was based on.
Fun fact: one of the guys that used to perfrom as benny the bull got arrested at the untied center when Chicago police did a sweep with k'9 units in the parking lot during a game. Turns out ol benny was a drug dealer and kept his stash with him in his car😂
You guys need to go to the Mets v Phillies London series! There will be batting cages & you can see how fast you can throw a baseball, tons of food. There’s a lot of promos out for the series now. One is with Rob McElhenney that’s pretty funny. A couple others of some British guy goes to the two parks & checks out their food & stuff. The best mascot (in all of sports) the Phillie Phantic & Mr. & Mrs. Met will make appearances too
My daughter, Amy was her high school mascot for their 🏈 team. Hilarious. She was 5' 4 ". Eagle costume was was too big.😁When she walk straight it look like she was side skipping. Too much laughter. Wait...never too much laughter. Her fights against opposing teams were epic! She pecked them down. She told me she would just keep leaning sideways because of the way the head costume fit. Wish I had videos...but just the same amazingly gut funny stuff happenings behind that costume more than we can know. Unless of you were a mascot yourself. And to end this novella, she was hot as hell in that costume...in the Aurumn Connecticut, U.S.A. weather. Those mascots are sweaing big time. Plus, at her high school, the person who wore the mascot uniform was kep secret. Know one in the school actually knew who the mascot was. Brilliant. Yep..break rules, be silly. And like you said Aiden, you are in cognito.
Please watch a video on the first famous mascot ever, the Famous San Diego Chicken. He started it in the 1970s. The creator of the mascot became so famous and popular, that he was requested to perorm at events all across America.
Hey guys, it's all staged. This is all to entertain the home crowds. There may be some legitimate interactions with some fans, but the fighting, or throwing liquid etc, is staged
They just showed a mascot this passed weekend lifting up a bar w like 145 lbs on it and they sit on fire. He did a fucking flip while holding it up. The mascots are usually as good if not better athletes than the actual players…
Keep up the good shows I really enjoy watching all of you react.... Of course I must admit that the one I enjoy watching the most is Aiden because he is so damn gorgeous! Does the family ever get to the West Coast of the US?
Some of these are set up. Mascots don’t just mess with random fans like that. Like the Rockets fan who’s pissed is a paid actor. Like the Heat fan with Jazz stinks sign.
The average salary of a NBA mascot is about 65k a year. But Rocky the Nuggets mascot makes 625k a year, Harry The Atlanta Hawks mascot makes 600k a year, Benny The bull makes 400k a year, The phoenix Suns mascot makes 200k a year, and the Hornet mascot makes 100k a year. Those few are paid more because the analytics says that alot of people factor in those mascots when purchasing tickets.
Roadrunner?! I think Daz forgot to wear his spectacles LOL. I understand coyotes are not native in the UK but damn how does that even remotely look like a bird?? 😂
To be a mascot you have to be in great shape, and have a gymnastics & dance background. But they get paid WELL for what they do. To give you an idea Denver’s mascot make 650k a year & the Bull makes 400k
Benny the Bull didn't retire, the guy who was playing Benny the Bull retired, Benny the Bull is still around with somebody else wearing the costume now.
Do they really think that the fights and things aren't stage!?😂😂 do you know how much money these billionaire sports team could be libel for if it wasn't?
The Jazz on is obviously fake. They wouldn't lead you toward the court to take you out. If you're getting kicked out for real they take you to the nearest exit up. Still hilarious.
I have always wondered who are the people that doesn't understand that every fan interaction from mascots in the US are staged but I guess we just found out. 😅
The ones where they have altercations with an opposing fan it's almost always staged for entertainment. But still funny as hell
The Spurs mascot is a coyote.
"The Bulls mascot needs a pay rise"
Funny enough, Benny makes 400k/year lol (according to Google)
Benny is by far my favorite (biased anyway lol), such an icon.
That guy is very talented.
$400k/year is way too much money.
@@areguapiri If anything it's not enough money. Benny's a legend here
Benny is legendary here in NW Indiana
“roadrunner innit”😂😭
I used to work at the arena the Atlanta Hawks in the early 90's.... All the fan attacks are setup....
Ocourse they are, teams are not about to get sued, over a prank
There’s gotta be a whole compilation of Robin Lopez fighting mascots, always epic lol
I'm beyond surprised that there's no shots of the original NBA mascot: the Phoenix Suns Gorilla.
A Roadrunner is a bird, or occasionally a Plymouth
Plymouth rock
Roadrunner ? That’s a bird. Spurs have a Coyote ! BEEP BEEP !!
LOL
Yeah. He was thinking of Wile E Coyote.
Some of these interactions are staged for stadium entertainment. Especially in America where everyone sues for everything

Benny the Bull got arrested at the Taste of Chicago in his costume

Rocky, Denver Nuggets mascot, is paid $625,000.00

I’d love to see more football (soccer) reactions
Benny the Bull is not only listed at #1 on greatest NBA mascots lists, but was the first NBA mascot. Barry Anderson was the best one.
Keep up the good shows I really enjoy watching all of you react....
Of course I must admit that the one I enjoy watching the most is Aiden because he is so damn gorgeous!
Does the family ever get to the West Coast of the US?
You guys should definitely see 10-20 years ago what the mascots USED to do lol. Back flips off trampolines and stuff every night. It was great

Watch The Miami Heat's Mascot Burnie Dancing Salsa during an All Star Game.
Could react to nba playoff highlights but I guess mascots will do…
Roadrunner?! I think Daz forgot to wear his spectacles LOL. I understand coyotes are not native in the UK but damn how does that even remotely look like a bird?? 😂
Please react to the MBA mascots. The Philly Phanatic and the Astros Orbit are my favorite.
Pls react to NHL FIGHTS (circa 1990 - 2000) #1
I think there 4 benny the bull for Chicago, the spurs mascot is coyote. Check out Blue from the Indianola colts.
Yo daz when we goin to Thailand

Benny the Bull 😂
React to top 50 ESPN commercials.
the san diago chicken was the best .
The Bulls mascot you saw in these clips retired last season. The Bulls entire entertainment group make us forget how bad our team is
Benny the Bull didn't retire, the guy who was playing Benny the Bull retired, Benny the Bull is still around with somebody else wearing the costume now.
The people fighting the mascots are plants.
you should react to just benny the bull. there is a really good video of just him
Average NBA mascot salary starts at $120k.
As a bulls fan we might suck, but Benny is the best mascot in the world.
Do they really think that the fights and things aren't stage!?😂😂 do you know how much money these billionaire sports team could be libel for if it wasn't?

Many of the victims are in on the fun.
Love it!
Thers only one sports mascot worth looking, the philly phanatic.
No, the Bulls Mascot is the funniest.
I just got the "Phillie Phanatic" hat!
anytime someone gets blasted with something you can assume they are a plant. the country is too litigious otherwise haha
Or ethical lol. The NBA wouldn't sanction that kind of behavior from the mascots or fans anyhow if it was real.
Indy 500….End of May
It’s staged that bald guy was in 2 different altercations.
Need some more MLS, not just Miami . There’s way more to see than just Messi.
It’s like reacting to the CFL for them…
They never will.
messi is the only one worth watching in MLS let's be honest
@@Vendrix86 yes The MLS to the Premi League is Like The UFL to the NFL..
Did not expect this to be this funny 😂
It’s staged guys lol
I have always wondered who are the people that doesn't understand that every fan interaction from mascots in the US are staged but I guess we just found out. 😅
Nowadays all these are set up for clicks.
Do cricket!
