    Thought it was funny that after you went through your care-mel/CAR-mel that an ad for Reese's came up with the same care-mel/CAR-mel. Now I want to try one of those!
    I've never used those task lists, but I kind of like that idea. I'm trying to figure out what I want to do with my planning this year. I thought I knew what I wanted to do and now I am changing things daily and we are only 10 days into the year.

      omg! that is hysterical. I dont get to see what ads they attach to my videos. They probably pick up certain words and target with that. but Caramel Reeces????!!!! sign me up!! LOL

    Hello from France,
    It’s very interesting and I’m willing to give this method a try !
    Best regards from Alsace, eastern France

      Greetings Marie-Helene. Eastern France! Fantastic. I am often taking meetings with French vendors and attorneys- the 9hour time difference makes it difficult sometimes but we make it work. Thank you for watching and I hope this idea helps in some way. keep me posted. :)

    I love the tip in you created in canva it’s super cute. I have so much fun creating inserts that fold up as well. I too highlight my non completed tasks to see them easily before migrating. I hate the word inbox for my planner. It sounds too businesslike and I have a hard time remembering my steps because I don’t check my inbox. I think for my sake. I’m going to rephrase my words for my action steps and title my inserts accordingly. I don’t identify with inbox, next, actions. It’s not me, but I haven’t yet found the right words.

      I 10000% agree on all fronts. Foldable inserts have become my new favorite thing... I dont know why. :). I agree- you have to identify with the words and sections you use in your planner, otherwise the flow just doesn't work. let me know what you come up with!

    For longer term in the future items, I'll put them on the master task list for the month I think I'll do them in. That way, I know that I'll be seeing it down the road and I don't have to keep it in my mind anymore. I keep the month tabs for the year in my planner and it has the master task list on it so I add items through out the year and then assess those items once I get to that month.

    • @MyMoxieDreams
      @MyMoxieDreams  6 місяців тому +1

      Liz- this is actually a brilliant idea and one I didnt think of for tasks. I do that for my appointments. when I make a future appt. I put that post it on the front of my month- so that when it's time to migrate info- I include those appointments in the month. I didnt think to do that with the tasks. I think for me- maybe putting those long term ones on a page flag and then do what you recommend might be what works. my fear (ADHD fear) is that I will write it in a month I think I will do it and either don't or I end up doing it sooner and I will get fixated on the fact that I wrote it in... does that make sense..? Either way you are AWESOME and thank you for sharing such a great idea!

    I like these tasks lists. Just to tag onto that, are you familiar with the "Adulting Log" which I first saw used by LindseyScribbles? It lists recurring tasks (car registration, tax prep, etc) vertically and each month's letter horizontally (basically the Alistair Method)? I adapted it to my own tasks & beginning this month I'll print it as an insert with additional blank lines for any other tasks for the months. This will show what & when they were done, in one "snapshot" for the whole year. Hope that makes sense! I'm sure I'll be making adjustments!

      Totally makes sense! Actually in my surprise video....(yet to be released) I kind of did this. only I put it in my perpetual calendar. that video is coming soon - when time allows me to edit it! LOL

    This process is like my coded inbox which I use everyday, it's the most used inserts in my planner.

      Plan with Bee does an amazing coding system. I think she has a recent video explaining it. Hope that helps!

      @MyMoxieDreams  6 місяців тому

      Claire- yes, I have seen coded inboxes before- Plan with Bee I think might have been my first video about that. I used to do coded calendar for each family member but I figured out really quick coding was challenging for me. I would love to see your system. Do you have a UA-cam you can share with us?

    In the Franklin covey method, the index found on the monthly pages is the space that you would use to index or archive important events for that month. So I always keep 12 months of two pages per day in my binder at all times so I can refer back to the index of a month and see when do I pay that bill? When was that doctors appointment? When were the assassignments turned in, etc.

      Hi Marie! Yes, the FC method is so good. I found over the last 30 years, I have pulled apart the things that work from the system and use it in my planner. Index is so useful. I love mine!

    I love seeing your process! I’m new to Franklin Covey. I have a (possibly) weird question; have you ever used fountain pen on their paper?

    • @MyMoxieDreams
      @MyMoxieDreams  6 місяців тому

      Thank you, Tiffany! You will love the FC size. It small enough and big enough at the same time- IYKYK. ;). Not a weird question at all. Unfortunately, I don't use fountain pens at all. It is not something I gravitate to at all. I do know there are a few people who do use it. Let me investigate and I will keep you posted on FC UA-cam channels who do use them with inserts. :)

    Hi, I enjoyed at all explanation of your process and it gave me ideas how to help in my everyday life.
    Can you give some details about work planner? With blank inserts or pages.

    • @MyMoxieDreams
      @MyMoxieDreams  5 місяців тому

      That makes me happy. I have a video describing a little about my work routine. did you check that out? i forgot what I shared because my work planner is confidential and I had to be very vague. I will try doing another video for you.

    New subscriber… so glad I found your channel, love watching this lol… on your over stocked planner issue, I have a possible solution. I don’t know if u have a high school close to u, however… it would be amazing feeling I’d think to take them n donate them to the economic class. The kids could give them a new life n I’m sure at least some of the kids would have a new love for paper instead of a phone

      Hi!! Thank you for subscribing. That is actually a great idea! I did that with some canvas and easels that I had bulk of. I donated it to my elementary school. Such a good idea! thank you!

      Hi Stacy- I use two different ones. the larger ones (I think one inch) white ones are post it's - I think they are listed in my amazon store. The smaller ones are Red Tags- also in my amazon store. Hope that helps.

    Hi Noelia, where do you get the paper and inserts from that you can just tear them away and put them back in another spot without opening the rings? I think it's brilliant, where have I been that I have never seen this? Please share, thanks!

    • @MyMoxieDreams
      @MyMoxieDreams  5 місяців тому +1

      Hi there. I simply slit the hole punches. no special paper or tool. Once you hole punch- you take scissors and you slit the circles. Hope that makes sense.
