Eddie Peabody "The King Of The Banjo" and Jimmy Maisel appear in this 1928 Vitaphone short. Colourised by Jim Coston. Jimmy Maisel plays an acoustic Banjoline on "Ramona". It was an invention of Eddie. It has standard plectrum banjo tuning but had doubled bass strings (Cc) in octave and double third sting (GG). He had an electric version produced by Rickenbacker instruments in the 1960s which he used in his stage act.
