Hi, thanks for promoting volunteering opportunities with the British Red Cross. Unfortunately, the British Red Cross only takes volunteers who are residents in the UK. They are unable to help with any visa applications. If you will be coming to study or similar, you can apply for the role when you arrive in the UK. To volunteer, please look for your local National Society on the IFRC

Thanks for the information , so its now confusing really because most youtubers here are saying the following : 1) A person can move with family that is spouse and kids , the spouse can work any job and kids can go to public schools for free 2) The main applicant can work for 20 hours a week a similar job to the voluntary job .3) The Visa is for 12 months and can be extended before it expires and a person is able to switch this visa to a TIER 2 visa whilst in the UK , and if i heard Faith well she said you can not switch that easy rather you have to go back to your home country first , so in conclusion all what most youtubers are saying is un verified information and chances are people might get mis informed ?

I just checked the UK government website and all you stated are true except for converting the tier 5 to tier 2.

How do you sustain yourself while volunteering ?
Sustenance means accommodation, meals & bills. Which will be sorted by them. Some of them have a place for you to stay in and your bills sorted and some also give stipends for your personal needs.
Hi sit Greetings just a Question if I am currently working in local Country and I got a sponsorship certificate so while applying to this visa is it required to provide employment status? And if yes is it possible to continue working online up to 20 hours in this job while doing the charity job? Thanks Sir

But sadly, most of us in civil engineering can't find a suitable offer either for jobs or charity visa. I have searched and I am almost giving up.

You get sponsorship visa first. Employer who employs you give that.
Ask your employer for the certificate of sponsorship.
