I hear a bunch of shit talk about Seether and how they’re unoriginal and edgy and whatever else. I don’t think most people who hate this band have heard more than 30 seconds of anything by Seether because if they did they would have a much more different opinion other than ‘shit sucks’. It’s such a stupid mentality. If you don’t like seether, fine. But objectively they are talented as hell. They have fans. Us. They gotta be doing something right for people to keep listening to them.

Same. I have every album and I just pre ordered Disclaimer 20th Anniversary Edition. I have every EP, album, everything. This is my band. I've seen them 13 times I believe. I'm starting to lose track lol! Seether is an exceptional band!! 🤍

I was going through random songs when I realized I haven't heard this song in such a long time to the point of not remembering either the name of the song or the name of the band. Luckily I saw another song by the same band and I quickly typed the band to find the song I was looking for. Glad to hear it again after 5 years.

I've been a rock/hard rock/metal guy as long as I can remember and SEETHER is definitely in my top 10 faves of all time which means that they're in the company of Alice Cooper, Ozzy, BLS etc... Need I say more??? Future Hall of Fame candidates for sure (although bc of how the things are) it may take awhile before they finally get in. 🤘🤘🤘

The beginning of this song sounds like it was inspired by 46&2 by the way the guitar was playing in it
Yeah, I caught that too, it's quite nice.
IMHO, I think the main reason for this happening is that both songs are using a very similar (if not the exact same) SFX/mod box setting on whatever equipment their using. I've been playing guitar for about 24 years now atm and even the gear and pedals/mod boxes from when I started would produce almost the exact same effect with almost no adjustments less pushing a foot switch enough times to find the setting. Keep in mind that we're talking about the end of the 90's era tech/equipment and what I had was a mid grade foot pedal/mod box and the rest was just basic stuff. I think this is why there are so many songs out now that sound a lot alike. Regardless, Seether is an excellent band and deserve more cred than they get.
Those opening notes sound really familiar... Maybe something Godsmack or Breaking Benjamin? I can't place it.
