I want the PC because I am in a VERY SIMILAR situation that you were in and I have great faith that I can be successful in the gaming scene.
I’m 19 in college (only reason I’m doing it is because I got a full-ride) with a dream to be a huge streamer. Being in college learning nothing has had me brainstorming on my dream job. Being able to help others (whether it be entertainment or advice) while doing something I enjoy is the pinnacle.
IMO, I have a big character and skill in shooters. I know I’d bring something new to the Twitch space. I’m Dominican and I live in NJ. I’m into working out, educating people to better themselves, relatable, open-minded, authentic as it gets, perspective, ambitious for more, etc.
I also have a background in playing at a high level in CoD. During the WW2 season, I had gotten up in the ranks and was playing in a $8s circle the whole year with Sib, Exceed, Mack, and many other prospects. Everyone in the circle was insanely talented. The things that held me back from having success beyond $8s were internet issues, not making the right moves, and having a toxic image. I was at times toxic (most kids are) but mostly, it was daggers thrown at me for no reason. I was always overlooked even though I was winning every $8s. Rarely anyone stood up for me so I always felt attacked. I would fight fire with fire. I shouldn’t have.
I know I have matured enough to where I have an understanding of why things are the way they are. I also take inspiration from you. A man who constantly gets hate all due to constantly chasing a dream. One who has had many shortcomings which are due to situational circumstances out of his control. People however never acknowledge your victories like your house, your channel, your championships, scrawny to built well, etc at such a young age.
I also had a PC. Even though I was (still am) poor, I had convinced my mom to buy me parts and I built a PC. However, I didn’t even have space to use the PC. My setup was in a corner only big enough for my console setup and there was no way I could afford another monitor. So I had lent my best friend the PC to use until his house caught on fire.
With all these things, these are the reasons why I believe I deserve the PC.
