28:25 That's Mattel's 'Yellow Fellow' head from "Kozmic Kiddles" in 1968. Very collectible if you find NM condition figures, flying saucer, and purple rock base. Some figures still glow-in-the-dark extremely bright (the yellow and light green ones).
26:35 I'm a bit fuzzy on the actual dates, but when I was inexperienced and hunting stuff I researched key packaging moments. Barcodes slowly became the norm in the mid-to-late 1970s. It was slow to be adopted. Five digit ZIP Codes on packaging addresses were a quick transition in the early-to-mid 1960s. There is a one year gap between ZIP codes and telephone area codes. 1963, if I recall correctly. Also a transition from three/ four letter U.S. state abbreviations to two-letters began in the mid-1960s, but the acceptance by the general public was slow (people don't like change, but businesses adapt quickly if it will increase distribution speed.)
Great video you guys. There was a lot of cool stuff. I would have grabbed that KISS magazine for sure. Andy has to watch his accent though, because I swear he said Ninja Turtle balls the first time. Lol😂
The Batmobile Was Awesome Good Stuff !!!
