- In this video I show a fast mobility scooter, the EWheels EW-72. This is a full-sized 48v scooter with 10" wheels that reaches speeds of around 14 mph. Full comfort chair, capable performance and fun to drive! I take you for a ride along and show you the features of this interesting mobility scooter.

@@scootercowboy Swapping in a 7 horsepower or less lawnmower engine needs key ignition mods also.
I have 1. Love it. !!!! 15 mph. An. I ride it to town all the time ( 2.5 miles ) paved and dirt roads. 6.5 years. 1 set of batteries. And i ride the Hell out of it !!!! 😊

Why are they so expensive
That's a very good question. Part of it is the batteries, because there are 4 it's about $350 to replace them. It has a transaxle and a fairly large 700w motor. 10" spoked rims. Other than that it's like every other scooter. But it has every option, every light, alarm, etc.You can find them 2nd hand for less.
Better be sure grampa and gramma have their wits about them at 14mph, maybe they should wear a helmet and use an air horn.

i dont like ewheels hard to get parts plus i dont like they dont have automatic brakes like pride and golden id rather have the new pride baja raptor 2
@mikestowe6136 I agree with you. For the same money I would buy the Pride Baja Raptor 2 scooter because from what I've seen Pride builds their scooters better and you can get parts. I'd love to get my hands on one to put up against my ewheels. BTW, the EW-72 does have an automatic electronic brake.
@@scootercowboy i just got lucky n bought a new raptor 2 4 wheel for 2 grand shipped from a mobility store b ride health floor model with 3 miles on it n has the new warranty cant wait to get it should be here end of week

@@scootercowboy ya fatherinlaw gave my wife a newer victory sport i thought it was fast at 8mph lol i seen that raptor on ebay i bet its been on there for 2 or 3 months hell for 2 grand they made me buy it i do find it kind dumb as iv raced dirt bikes atvs trucks but yet ive never had more fun doing 8mph on a scooter on a bike path pissing off cyclist lol

EW a total and complete fraud. DO NOT PURCHASE. One or maybe two years: No support, no parts, no service, no customer support except to buy more "stuff". EW is nothing more than a Chinese sales outlet for inferior mobility scooters. Period. Your misfortune if you get suckered in !!
I agree the EW scooters are not built as well as say, a Pride scooter. I have been looking for parts for mine and haven’t been able to find them. Which scooter did you buy?
😅 bull. Iv had mine for 6.5 years. 1 set of batteries. And I ride the HELL out of it. 2.5 miles to town. All the time. Yes a little ruff ride but not to bad. I ride it on the main road. And dirt road. 😊

FYI: these are not good scooters they are pieces of total garbage, watch the videos you’ll see!
I also have an Afikin S4 and the EW is not near the quality, but it’s a fun ride.
