id love to at least see a re-release. the wave of ps1 rpgs hitting the switch gives me hope that the ps2/gamecube rpgs will get their time to shine in not too long
BK is one of Monoliths best. It’s nice to see a review not harp so much on the obvious production lows and celebrate it for its vision. But I totally disagree with you on the plot. It’s a generic theme, but it’s delivered in a really unique way with one of the biggest plot twists I’ve ever experienced in gaming. to this day I’m still waiting for something to make me gooped and gagged like this game. BK Origins was great too!
thanks for the comment! i agree that twist was incredible and i do praise the game for having great moments like that. maybe i came off as too harsh in my wording saying the story hadn't aged quite as well as the other elements, cause i do still think it has a lot of good things going for it. But yeah for me, other than the big twist moments and betrayals i didnt find myself having much attachment to the story of an evil god being awakened and an evil empire. i do admit i prob couldve praised more of the unique ways that story was presented (like the cool atmospheric bits where the feathers drop into the water.) but a lot of those were kinda just really good surface dressing on top of what i thought was a story id seen before totally see where youre comin from though and thanks for sharin your thoughts on this amazing game :)
@@yoppimedia speed part 1 was soooooo slow during battles and even movment in dungeons lol i tried to go back to it after i beat orgins and i could do it haha one day if they remaster it. The card system was upgraded and now to get big damage you gotta really utilize combos. Turned it into almost a fighting game with how fast and fun it is. The story is amazing and explains all the little questions the first one had and then all the small quality of life improvements like visuals and sound. You thought this soundtrack was good wait till u hear that ones ost haha
@@yoppimedia yes please do id love to hear ur take on that story as i just watched your stella deus and loved it since barely anybody knows about that game lol
Freakin amazin game, so badly wish they'd make a new one.

As a huge fan of Scatman John, I seriously love almost every song he ever made, I'd love the lore video.
the world isnt ready...
@@yoppimedia I am though, yoppi, I am. How much money do you NEED.
And the story I think is kinda run of the mill but I think it also sets you up to hit you with unpredictable things. It'll catch you off guard.

Easily one of my favorite games of all time. It's more or less the father of Xenoblade Chronicles.
This game has aged incredibly well, holds up in 2022. I'd fucking love a remake/remastered version for the Switch.
how did u know... lol
You gotta play origins bro. the dialog between the characters is so realistic
Yes, please make one for origins!!
U neeeeeed to make a vid on orgins. That game is underrated asf and blew this one out the water in many levels.
damnnnn really, now im kinda hype? what did it improve mainly?
