Listen to anything by Pentatonix, and they are a capella! They are Incredible! These guys are very good, too, but Pentatonix is So multi-layered with Incredible harmonies.😊

Once you hear his voice on it's own it's really easy to pick up on it in the harmonies! He's definitely as good a singer as many of us Collabro fans had thought.

These boys must really admire Jamie because through every performance they always look at him in serious awe and admiration. In fact they all look at each other that way. It really is heart warming. Matt wasn't wrong when he said natural chemistry in the audition. It's unbelievably beautiful to watch!

I´m watching it in February 2023 and couldn´t agree more with you! I also had noticed the affection they have they they look at each other in admiration and encouragement, maybe... I only came to know this group recently, and have seen their very first audition dozens of times!
After having sung in a group for several years you are taught to turn and look at the person saying giving them your attention so as not to distract from them. I wish I knew each one of their names but I have yet to find some place where I can see that they've been introduced by name. A couple of them have a lot of power in their voice and that definitely adds to the group I really like this group!
This is one of my favorites because the pure strength of their voices is apparent -- nothing covering up the perfection.
So well scripted. They seamlessly switch to one another. Their voices complement one another, and their harmony is simply beautiful. The song, and accompaniment are simply marvelous!!!
This should be the mainstream music today. Their music melts my heart.
3 of them have the deeper more sonorious voices and two of them the softer lighter weaker voice but they complement each other perfectly it is a pure joy to listen to them.

The weaker so called voices are the ones killing the harmony in the background and are invaluable. They provide the range and they sound amazing obviously their own too
One cannot help but to listen to this performance over and over, they so synchronized and sing with such depth. Once again, one word excellent! - Well Done!

I've only discovered this group a month or so ago while watching back episodes of BGT. What thorough delight it was to listen to the harmonies and arrangements they have accomplished. This is the best version of 'A Thousand Years' I've enjoyed. And, I could understand all the words! Kudos to you, Collabro!

Being from a choir of only 9 people I have an ear for all the parts that are present. And with this group you can hear each part and putting them together makes a perfect choral performance! It makes me want to cry with how beautiful this is! Glad I found it!:)
I honestly don't think I have ever heard anything as beautiful as this group. I have watched Stars from Les Mis over and over and cry every time. They are exquisite together and all are so handsome.

I love the connection and respect that you all obviously have between each other. It's so powerfull and gives me goosebumps every time. Such a perfect team! Exactly how you described yourself to the judges on your first audition: the chemistry between you guys is just magic.
Another beautiful hit record and just in time for Christmas and their tour. My favorite part is when Michael has his solo part in the beginning, and what a lovely job he does, and then the boys break into some of the best harmonizing they've done, in my opinion.

Got into an audition video stint and yours (Stars, first audition) was one of ten in some list or another of Top 10 Got Talent acts. I am so grateful to've found you! I now listen to you daily. Saw them last night, they were amazing! Voices were perfection.
I just gotta say that their voices make an emotion well up in my chest that nearly brings tears to my eyes. I could just say "I love them", but it's not really that. I'm awed and impressed and I feel like I could hug every one of them and just say thank you for being their amazing selves.

Bambina Fernandez My biggest fear. If they stay together they will be cast in the same light as the 3 Tenors. Their voices still hasn't even peaked yet and won't until they are around 32 to 35. So much growth in such as small about of time. Tom and Michael has grown the most. Richard's voice is so pure and with Jamie's added coaching, a US saying, "Kate, bar the door", OMG. Jamie's range continues to amaze me. Richard, Jamie and Matt doesn't have a weak spot between the registers which is amazing at their ages. Tom is really smoothing out his high register with such pure tones. Michael's growth and been the largest, but I feel it is just believing in himself and knowing he belongs. Just an old opera's singers view point.

I'm a cynical old man, rapidly approaching retirement, with memories dating back to the best (and worst!) of the 60's...and everything since...
When you're harmonising at your best, then you're truly the very best I've ever heard...I can't help but love what you do, but you still have (at least in these videos) some consistency problems to overcome, because IMHO you're not always at your best...
That's presently forgiveable because of the relatively short length of time you've been together...I do hope you get it really together soon though, because I believe you have it in you to be worldbeaters...good luck and thanks for bringing joy into my life...
+cogidubnus1953 the 60s is pretty much the best example when you want to talk about harmonies, most music from the 50s and 60s was groups singing in beautiful harmony. i agree they still have things to work on, but they are fortunate enough to be so natural talented that i only expect good things to come from them. they are very good and i love how different they are from most modern music

I still miss Richard. I so wish they could resolve their differences, if only to record an album. His voice is just amazing. They are all exceptional, but it is as though theor 5 voices just have a more complete sound.
I've read on Richard's website that he left the group primarily because he wants to be a jazz singer, which I get - and don't get at the same time, especially given that he had the most legit voice of the group.
