Almonds are also high in oxalates which causes kidney stones. Spinach too…peppers are high in lectins which causes inflammation … I used to eat this way when I was a Vegan and I ended up getting very sick because of oxalate toxicity…I felt healthy, I had energy, I had a great memory but behind the scenes unknown to me I was growing tumors (fibroid and the bottom of my feet), and kidney stones…I learned later about oxalates and lectins.

You should put your powdered supplements in your frother too with your milk! Makes your coffee even creamier and helps de-clump it instead of mixing it after :)

Love the idea of the nut cow and your frother thanks for sharing I had noe idea that making a nut milk could be so easy. I havent tried making it because I thought too pain in the butt to have to squeeze it out..lol Recipes look great as well.. Thanks again. One more thing what is the deal with eating kale and your thyroid? I too have hypothyroidism. I dont eat kale all the time so Im still learning about it.

I also have hypothyroidism and I have to take my pill as soon as I get up and can't eat for an hour after taking it. I work 8am-5pm. Do you have any suggestions that I can do to eat something before 12pm every day without getting up at 5am? Haha

I lately been intermittent fasting without actually trying to do it but I wake up and usually can go till noon so I go 12 to 15 hours without eating but good job to everyone who does an actual diet

My counter tops stain really bad too and the only thing that will get the stain off is mr clean magic eraser sheets!
Instant pot hack: I always turn it on Saute while I'm getting the ingredients in so that it is already warm when I put the lid on. I find that it significantly cuts down on the time it takes to seal!

I get sooo envious when I see all the choices you have in the states! I’ve looked online and locally in our health food shops and can’t find an almond cow or a lot of drinks etc you use! Part of the draw backs of living on a nine by five mile island in between England and France! I’m a type 1 diabetic so while I’m very interested in the almond milk maker, I was worried about the carbs in the dates. I looked it up and it turns out that they are low in carbs and I think that would work for me! I am so glad you shared it. I used to drink black coffee but have recently been using sugar free creamer (just a little, but still). I’ll have to save up for the milk maker but I think it will be a much, much better alternative to my creamer and store-bought almond milk!! ❤️

Are you gluten free Katie? I've been skipping meals lately due to going gluten free (due to hashimotos diagnosis) & not knowing what to eat. It's so hard deciding what to have when my go to was toast for brekky, sandwiches for lunch etc
I'm gluten free too! I started having sourdough a few months ago and I could have a lot without feeling guilty!!
Hey there! I am not totally gluten free but I do limit grains! There are so many alternatives for bread and wraps but make sure you look at the ingredients list for hidden sugar!

Please someone help me!! I am looking for a recipe in one of her videos and I can't find it. She made these cookies that were like no bake cookies only they didn't have oats in them. They were just coconut oil, chocolate, Chia seeds and coconut flakes. My entire family loved them and I accidentally threw the recipe away. Can anyone point me to this video?
