- After many years of delays, Sonic in Jurassic Park finally sees the light of day. At least part of it anyway. After the project was canceled in 2014 the demand never really subsided. While many of my viewers understood why, there was always a pining for it to return. While this may not be the full movie it is undoubtedly the most important scene. I hope this animation will please everyone who was let down.

It is a really odd pairing I’ll admit. It’s just a passion project from when I was a kid. This is also in line with my most popular video ‘Sonic in JAWS’.

No. You did not wait 9 years for this. The original project was canceled in 2014. This video only started production about 5 months ago.

Tails is fine. You should consider watching the original Jurassic Park.
“Why can’t Sonic just fight the T-Rex? This is out of character!”
I’ll admit that these two properties do not belong together. It’s hard to tell a story like this when the characters have faced much worse. Of course, Sonic could have easily just run circles around the Tyrannosaur. Sonic can peel through metal robots, but this Tyrannosaurus is 10 tons of pure muscle. Just suspend your disbelief. After all this is just a fan animation.

The little attention to detail like Amy and Tails covering their ears ONTOP of their head, the silly bits were Madame T was polite enough to open the door to chow down, and just the overall quality is outstanding!
Kudos to every voice actor that helped tie this together and many thanks to Steve for making yet another masterpiece!

I love that you took the time to illustrate the the attack in a way that visually explains the cliff plot hole. In the original movie, the final editing inadvertently made it look like the T. rex shoved the Jeep over the cliff in the exact same spot she had just walked out from. For years, fans talked about this as one of the most infamous plot holes in cinema. But in the original storyboards, it's shown that there is actually a moat/shelf the park rangers use to help keep the animals out of areas they don't belong. The Tyrannosaurus was *supposed* to throw and drag the Jeep back several yards away from its original location, putting it past the moat/cliff and lining it up with the ravine. But in the movie, they didn't take enough time to do that, so everyone was just left asking themselves where the hell that ravine magically came from. Nice touch
This is exactly the sort of scenario I would've come up with as a kid, and to see it not only brought to life but actually done WELL, is wild in all the best ways. Bravo!

Actually.. this scene is inspired more from both sources, the film and the novel as Knuckle's " Perhaps extinct animals should be left extinct, don't ya think..?" line is actually Malcom's line from Michael Crichton's original novel. I was thrilled when he said it though! Awesome animation.

@William McCulloch dude the Dilophosaurus chapter was terrifying when Dennis Nedry was in the jaws of the Dilophosaurus all Dennis could do was scream then it ended then the next chapter when I first read that part of the book I’m glad the sun was coming up otherwise I wouldn’t be able to sleep.

I have a been subscriber to you for 12 years according to my memory, never thought of unsubscribing cuz you set your priorities above UA-cam some few years ago. I was always felt one day you were gonna announce your departure and well, here we are in 2020. I know you said you’re leaving next year. But the first video I watched, of course was Sonic the Glitch Hog, and I rewatched that video over and over again, cuz I was just a kid who really loved Sonic back then, not as much today but still looking forward to whatever projects the Sonic Community is doing, fan games, comic books, animation, etc. You always stood to me as a special channel for a long time, but I think you would consider yourself just a normal guy doing what he likes. To me, that’s what stood out from your work, sharing to us what you like and getting to see what weird, absurd, but still cool Sonic videos you were gonna do. Never thought your off the cuff, poorly animated Sonic Zombie series would be the definition of your channel, but that’s not true. It’s just an example of someone half-assing their videos on purpose for the sake of humor. But yet, those millions of views off those SZ videos didn’t mean to you. It’s encouraged and you thank the viewers for giving you what you deserve but you always valued quality over quantity and I always admired that from you for such a long time. I still remember your channel being Sonicdude3 at the time, but you changed the name to sound professional for your future and better production videos. But dude, it’s been a trip, I was a kid watching your stuff through and through but now as a adult, somewhat, it’s gonna be sad to see you stop making videos. I will treasure the fun memories I had from watching your channel. Thank you very much Steve, can’t wait to see that Christmas video later on. And you take care of yourself, I really mean that.

I can’t believe this is the last animation you’re doing (not including Christmas with Sonic) I remember watching Sonic in Jaws and Scared Stupid 2 when I was like 8. I’m now 16 and it’s such a shame you couldn’t continue.

I've seen many Sonic related animations in my time growing up. Some good, others...uh, not so much. But THIS...this right here. This has to- no, IS the best one I've seen. A combination of Sonic and one of my favorite movies growing up as a kid. Adding a few moments that didn't happen in the movie, such as Conker running away instead of getting eaten, was a nice touch! But now I'm getting off track. The animation as a whole- 10/10. The voice acting- 10/10. The Tyrannosaurus sfx and appearance- I dare say it was an 11/10.
...Look, T-Rex is cool, ok? You can't go wrong with that. 😂
All in all. A fine animation with a lot of time and dedication put into it. Bravo!

I've been waiting to see this for years and now that's it's here is incredible we will miss you Steve
The moment you hear THOSE footfalls...........you know shit's about to get real in so many ways, it's terrifying. And nothing was more terrifying than Rexy in this scene. It's like you captured her frightening, shadowy presence from the book itself to add to an already terrifying scene. The way her eyes glimmered into beady lights in the dark like lions, and nocturnal beasts only added to it - as did her iconic, mighty roar that stands right next to Godzilla's roar itself in terms of power, authority, intimidation, fear and respect.
The signs that make a powerful Alpha Queen or King of their world: and we all know Rexy is Queen of Jurassic Park, and Jurassic World: and not even the freedom into our world will change that, now that Michael Crichton's warning theme of dinosaurs escaping into the modern world has come to pass because of human kinds selfishness, and greed. Seeing this, I only wonder what the story of Dominion has in store for us besides the return of the original cast (sadly minua lord ian attenborough, RIP:().

I had a vague memory of watching a Sonic with Jaws film when I was a kid that I couldn't find for years but remember it vividly being really well animated and voiced. Imagine my surprise finding this video and the channel that posted that Jaws one also.

I love how you guys take the time to add the small details; like tails and amy being coated mud, amy's quills(?) being all disheveled and wet from the rain, and so much more. Not a lot off SFM people using Sonic models take the time to do that.

@@KronoCrimes Well, I think 2 years ago he was going to retire but he must have changed his mind with how he is making animations. I think the retirement was because of the Made For Kids situation in which many animations would be set to kids even if the videos had inappropriate stuff for kids. Like for example, if this video got set to kids, that would say UA-cam is fine with showing people almost dying and being attacked by something.
It may have not have been a movie, but this is still the greatest thing you have provide with this crossover. I FREAKING LOVE IT!!!!!

This makes me feel nostalgic in two ways 1) for the movie, which is my favorite movie of all time, and 2) for your old videos. I was watching your videos when I was in high school and I graduated in 2013! Good times, good times. It's really awesome to see how much your animation has improved over the years.
Oh my godzilla! My favorite movie franchise in my life and some of my favorite videogame characters in my life in 1 video and is the opposite of cringe! I love this video since i saw it when it appears and y still watching it. Is awesome!
