I always enjoy your videos Rachel. You paint beautifully and share your talent with grace. I love your cool grey wall color with the white shelving. So classy looking. And I loved your unicorn hair. Do you know what side of the unicorn had the most hair? The outside. 😂
I'm so glad! I'm uploading a video today that will include a long haired dog. I also have the full length, step by step real time tutorial available on my Patreon at www.patreon.com/rachelsstudio
Rachel, you are such an awesome teacher!! You give us so much information so that we can venture out on our own and "fly". A funny note: some of my best paintings were done in a really cheap large sketchbook with pretty lousy paper (somewhere between copier paper and construction paper!). I think the paintings turned out so well because I had low expectations and no fear of ruining an expensive piece of paper. LOL!
Lovely, but you need to watch this with CC. I have to use CC and this was transmitted as Vietnamese and to try to translate that back to English is gobbledy-gook LOL~ please submit only as English because people can have that translated once into another language with less trouble than we have translating it twice, once to another language and then back to English and into gobbledy-gook. There have been a lot of YT changes so you may not have control over that any more. Thanks for all you do!
@@rachelparkervarner You have another one set to Vietnamese as well and this is not the 1st time I've come across this on other channels. A few months ago YT was encouraging other languages, maybe without realizing what a mess it causes, and maybe did some overrides on people's settings. Thank you so much for checking it out! Loving the work and the info--I have stopped beginning masterpieces and started doing practice pieces which turn out much better with a shift in my mindset!
Rachael you are such a great teacher and always make me smile! Love your tutorials!
I appreciate that so much!
I really love this series of fur. Always enjoy learning how to paint animals! Thanks for sharing this.

Glad it was helpful Katie Jo!
Your fur series has come at a great time for me, as I would like to paint a friend’s long-haired dog. Thank you, I’m looking forward to watching 😊

Me too!

That makes sense that your paintings came out more fresh when you didn't put any pressure on them. That happens to me too!
Another great video, Rachel! Thank you. I always learn so much :)
You're so welcome!
Just so happens I am struggling with fur on a painting right now. BTW, I love your channel. You do the hard stuff the others ignore.
I'll have a lot more fur videos coming soon in this series!

That is so weird and I have no idea why it's doing that. I'm going to look into it now. Thanks for letting me know!!
I looked at the settings and everything is set to English so it may just be a bug that will hopefully resolve itself!
