It looks great if you like living in marinas and day-sailing. Nothing at all wrong with that if that's your type of sailing, but it seems a good niche for those who can't decide between a gin-palace and a sailboat.
Nice. A real sailing test would be better, especially concerning the main sheeting system and the (in my opiion) very narrow arrangement of the 2 head sails.
You never fly both head sails at once on this boat. Hanse boats come with a self tacking jib, but you can pay extra to have a second forestay with a large overlapping genoa wrapped around it. You never fly both of them at once as they are made for completely different conditions. The self tacker is great for upwind conditions or winds above 20 knots. The overlapping genoa is better for beam and broad reaching as well as downwind. The overlapping genoa is also better for light to moderate wind conditions (up to 18-20 Kts max).
Can't watch this. The very shaky head mounted Go-Pro and the super wide field lens gives me a headache. Sad that poor photography makes such a difference. This is the classic issue with UA-cam and Go-Pros. The artificial Teak is fine.
This is your comment on Hanse 460 . Are you serious. There is much much more, about equipment, sailing capabilities etc.... Do your homework please. Thank you for your effort though
Great boat. Thanks for the review and attention to detail )
Hanses new ships are absolutely incredible
This is the one perfect size for solo sailing from Florida to France
Well done! You want someone checking the details! Very good!
is done by uk tester, its well done in every detail

The place for the life raft is ridiculous
@@CristianoGabrielPereiraAlves yep, trying to get that out in heavy seas in a stressful emergency, good look! Clearly a coastal cruiser.
The ships are build for barfootroute

Should stick to classical design in saloon. As per sailing capabilities this boat is FANTASTIC .

Four catches and a really heavy cover to get to the liferaft..... Just what you want when you're scared and the boat is damaged. Not clever design.
Gimble oven, try lifting the cover top off and it will gimble fully. Your a yacht reporter, oh dear, should know better.

you raise a very good point, can't believe the manufacturer is pleased with this.
You certainly butchered that review with the head cam
Everything below looks very " Ikea"
The Boat is absolutely fantastic but artificial teak is awful.
Cramped at the helm , winches under sized like all hanses

How much does the future owner have to pay to remove this artificial teak?
There are such wonderful materials that are not necessarily expensive
U can switch as option to other materials if u buy... teak is just a option of the buyer
@@fluffi8161 And there are different tastes in equipment, but hardly any ˝replacement˝ material lasts as well as the original
@@vorda400 NO the do it when u buy... 3 selection
the deck looks terrible
Because of the synthetic teak? I kinda agree that it isn't as pretty, but hopefully it would be nice and low maintenance.
Correct
ok boat for weekend on a lake very badly desined cheap deck .would not like to cross an occean in it
