Pixel 6a/7a: Forgot Password, PIN, Pattern? Let's Factory Reset

If you forgot your password, PIN, Pattern or your password does not work on the Google Pixel 6a (same for 7a) smartphone then i show you how to factory reset the phone. Note with a factory reset you will lose all your photos, videos, personal data, personal settings, etc so hopefully you have a backup if anything is important on the phone. Good Luck!

Is it true that if one of my grandkids messed with my Google Pixel 7a that only way is to do a factory reset if i can figure it out does that delete all contacts and all photos plus everything on Facebook

I did everything that I have been told to do to reset the phone. The problem is that someone stole my phone and then I later found it. Whomever stole my phone changed my PIN number. Now I can't get into my phone without the pin that I put on it. I thought a factory reset would take the phone back before you even put a PIN on it. I guess it doesn't with the Google Pixal 6a. Someone even changed my Google E-Mail password and I can't get a code text on my phone. My cell phone right now is a $400.00 paperweight.

thanks, had to factory reset my new 7a cause i set up a face unlock and fingerprint, but it kept asking for a pin, which i dont know if i ever entered during setup or just forgot lol

My friend oh so that's why I kept on getting emergency password everytime I tried to unlock my pixel 7a screen so I also factory reset mine to so I just skipped everything so I guess now I don't have to worry about the emergency password getting in the way of my pixel 7a screen as well:).

First thing to try is put in safe mode… if all good then most likely it’s an app u downloaded causing this n u need delete it.

@@LaryCaverga94 Yeah, I discovered the error. I was not taking enough care to avoid a double digit. But then I am not often sitting up straight with a steady view of the screen.
Definitely a 'phone for geeks!
For me, its a lemon when I was looking for a peach.
There is a lot more about the Pixel 7a that makes it unhandy.
