    Once again you have lifted our spirits here in Dolau Mid-Wales wonderful combination of music and views. The last time I tried to watch one of your uploads the power went off, nothing to do with your filming I hasten to add!
    Thanks again, Brian.

      Thank you Brian, surely living in Dolau, you don't need your spirits lifting, it's a lovely quiet place, with a beautiful station....Best wishes from Pembrey....Bob

    Fine images Bob. Superb view from on top of the Graig and as John mentions what a wonderful spot for a cemetery where so many would have admired that beautiful view when they were alive.

      Thanks Austin, my parents grave is in that Cemetery, and it does indeed offer splendid views over Burry Port. At the end of December I joined a local Facebook Group called 'Memories of Burry Port', and I've been uploading these 'Local' videos on there, which has been greatly appreciated by people living locally, and those who have moved away to all parts of the World....so keeping me going until the trains return....Bob

    Very nicely filmed Bob , what a difference a day makes , it has been the same up here , a bit of frost first thing but wall to wall sunshine ,after yesterday non stop rain, nice touch showing the plaque re the French Col. Coquelin and his daughter sadly lost at sea

      Thanks Dave, saw it was going to be a fine day, and with no trains to video, decided to do another one on my home town.....Bob

      It wasn't too bad John, I left the house at about 08.30, before it got windy up there....Many thanks....Bob

    Very nice Bob. It was one of those days today where you felt you could go out with no threat of rain, I went to Amroth, the scale of the destruction of the wall on the front is simply staggering, and the tarmac road ripped up.

      @robmasterman  10 років тому

      Thanks Justin, it's amazing what happened at Amroth, considering they had a supposedly robust sea defence there...Bob

    A very beautiful and sympathetic view of Burry Port Bob....the music captures the mood brilliantly. So good to have a lovely sunny day. Interesting history, especially of the shipwrecks in the area years ago.....how the locals lured the ships to the shore is also fascinating. very well filmed...best wishes....Steve.

    Some interesting local history there (how many places have the Empress Josephine's niece buried there?) (Nice description of Napoleon; "that renowned individual").
    I wonder if the "Brothers" of Liverpool, returning from Bahia, was slave trading?

    • @robmasterman
      @robmasterman  10 років тому

      This is the real thing Andrei :o)....It's amazing how many shipwrecks there are under the sands of Cefn Sidan, many ending up there after hitting storms whilst crossing the Atlantic, and many being lured to the beach by beacons being lit by locals on the mountains to enable pilfering of the cargoes.....Bob
