I find it fun to read a few holiday books in November and then share them with friends and family in the holiday season. And for Before the Coffee Gets Cod you can read along to the audiobook. I do that a lot because it keeps me focused on the sound. Nice plan for your TBR.
I love how you organized your TBR! You've mentioned several that I'm unfamiliar with and now I need to check them out. 😊 I've listened to 'A Good Girl's Guide to Murder' on audio and I really enjoyed it.
@@Courtagonist I'm sure will. I'm currently reading/listening to On Thin Icing from Ellie Alexander. LOVE her books!! I live in WA and hope to one day visit Ashland. 😊
Love the rainbow tbr cart. I would definitely recommend listening to The Lost Apothecary on audiobook as the story and the narration is a little slow in the beginning. Breathless was a interesting read and I was satisfied with the ending. Fun fact, the profile on the cover is the author. Just finished listening to the audiobook for The Last Cuentista which I recommend unless you are fluent in Spanish. Really enjoyed this book. The ending made me wonder if there will be a sequel.
The Lost Apothecary might be my next audiobook!!! I love it when books have Easter eggs on the cover! I’m totally going to do The Last Cuentista on audiobook but I’m in love the with cover!!!!
I loved “ Dial A for Aunites “. It was a wonderful read . I didn’t feel it strayed from the cozy genre too much . There are a few moments but it’s not gory 🥰. I love Holly Jackson I have not been disappointed with her books so far🥰.
@@Courtagonist it’s about Kala Stonechild who has a tumultuous childhood on a reserve in the north, but eventually overcomes her circumstances to become a police officer. She has tremendous instinct when it comes to solving crime. Meanwhile she’s also trying to figure out herself. The characters are beautifully developed and one of the main settings, Kingston, Ontario, is my favourite place in the world. I also am seriously crushing on one of the secondary characters. 😉
I think Dial A for Aunties is, I feel, not a true cozy mystery as we know them. I feel Booktubers who don’t read cozies tend to call it a cozy mystery because it is lighter than a thriller or a regular mystery. However, it is a fun read. You probably will enjoy it, but as a light mystery.

Thank you!!!! I had a lot of fun making it!
Probably not so much considered cozy but the Stonechild and Rouleau series by Brenda Chapman is excellent!
Oooooooo! I’ll need to check it out! What’s the premise?

I totally agree! I don’t think Finlay Donovan is Killing it, The Thursday Murder club, or Killers if a Certain age are cozies either.
I don’t think Dial A for Aunties is a cozy mystery, but I do think it’s a cozy read with some good tension
That’s what I was thinking!!!
I want to try Jasper Fford which book should I start with? Thanks
Oooooo!!! You should read The Big Over Easy it’s a Nursery Crime Division series. It was my first one of his and I LOVED IT!
