I really like the fly in at the beginning. It reinforces how these are real places even when the events don't match the scenario 100%
I try always to make an overlay, but sometimes it just dont fit, as here f.e.- You can see studenka in 1944 in the bw image at the beginning of my video. There are no bridges during the war as in the designed map. But well we can not build our own ingame or use ferries, therefor it is ok.
In my playings I recommend to my opponent they dont surrender, but ceasefire instead so that territory control is "as is" at game end, and giving a more balanced victory point score, rather than winner take all. Nice vids!

This was a Brilliant slugfest. I'm sure the Germans were outgunned in this one, so hats off to the defender. You can't only do so much at this point with ragtag forces. Never played this map, but I guess I will take a look at it. Thanks for the great video once again Herm.
The Germans have a quite capable army, but they have to wait for the reinforcements, 14 Pz.Kpfw V +14 Pz.Kpfw IVH and a company Panzergrandiere. The Pz.Aufkl Abteilung 5 from the start with Lynxs and so on.( I cut all those interactions out to keep the video viewable.)

Even though the tank losses were similar on both sides, in the bigger picture the Germans aren’t going to be able to replace those tanks in any significant way. Meanwhile, the surviving Sov tanks crews are going to walk back to the train depot and unload new T34s
true whatever crews would survive, the Su-152 however would be a bit harder to replace as they only produced about 600
and then there is question of who can tow their back
i give it low chances that t34 can be fixed knowing their quality
@@JuergenGDB I am not sure that the number ~600 is correct, they had a production quota of about 170 a month from April 1944 on. Need to look it up.

The panther is the standard "panther a-mid" camo of the game, that I forced on all panther models, and which I made look a bit more dirty and used, The SU-152 is aris base design, where I painted some stripes and dirt on.

Losing 10 T34's in 2 Minutes is what you get trying to duke it out with Panthers at range, they are in there element...You somehow needed to close the gap before trying to take on those Bad boys...MKIVs you can match. The optics on the German stuff is much better you will miss more with Russian tanks
