Unpopular opinion: To be a "quiet kid" should not at all be associated with the term school shooter. Coming from a person who always has been genuinely quieter in a school environment, it is very degrading to hear and know that people associate kids like myself to straight up murderers. P e r i o d t I'm a Christian and I'm bicurious 😙 my parents don't know this because they ARE homophobic, sadly. But sometimes you just gotta raise yourself. Look how I turned out. Unpopular opinion: We shouldn't be shipping real people. *Especially when they've explicitly stated that they're uncomfortable with it.* I see this pretty much everywhere (Mostly in the 1D fandom) and it's straight-up weird and creepy. hii !! before i even start just know im not trying to be rude or attack you or anything, im just here to educate :) and i know this comment is from 10 months ago, and ur thoughts on this totally couldve changed but i feel like what im gunna say is important to bring up. as someone who dealt with selective mutism for around 7 or 8 years of my life, not everyone who’s quiet or shy doesnt want to talk to people. for context, selective mutism is a disorder that makes talking to people really hard due to anxiety !! most people who have it can easily talk to their parents, siblings, close friends and other people they see regularly and trust tho, it mostly applies to strangers, teachers, and even extended family. you can google it if you wanna know more about it or im happy to answer any questions u might have !! but from my experience at least, it wasnt at all because i didnt want to talk to people, i actually really really wanted to i just physically couldnt. sorry this reply is a paragraph LMAO theres not really a condensed way of saying all that but if u read all this thank you !! and have a good day/night

Absolutely, I’m not skinny, but I agree. Insecurity is really in some form in everybody; it’s just more manageable in certain things and people than others. Others will always have what you want in yourself, and it is a subconscious feeling that stays with me all the time (and probably others, too).

Unpopular opinion: Periods shouldn't be taboo. People who have periods are always shamed for even vaguely mentioning it. It's rude, it shames us, and honestly it shouldn't be hushed just because others might not be able to relate and/or might be uncomfortable. Also tampons should not be the norm when it comes to dealing with menstration. Pads should be normalized.

I sorta agree. I agree in the sense that periods themselves shouldn’t be shamed, because periods are obviously just a normal female bodily function. But, I feel like a lot of women feel as if periods are something to be embraced. So I went swimming with one of my friends, and we went to go dry off. I was acting silly in my swimsuit and I was like “yallll I got thicc💀” and she was like “but you got those stretch marks tho”. She isn’t a fake friend, and she prolly didn’t mean it in a bad way, but it just kinda made me feel a little bad about them😔.
I never thought anything wrong about mine but then my family made comments on it that made me feel terrible. And then a friend of mine told me "oh I don't have any hahaha" when I told her about it and it only made me feel more insecure. To be a "quiet kid" should not at all be associated with the term school shooter. Unpopular opinion: Periods shouldn't be taboo. People who have periods are always shamed for even vaguely mentioning it. It's rude, it shames us, and honestly it shouldn't be hushed just because others might not be able to relate and/or might be uncomfortable.

So I went swimming with one of my friends, and we went to go dry off. I was acting silly in my swimsuit and I was like “yallll I got thicc💀” and she was like “but you got those stretch marks tho”. She isn’t a fake friend, and she prolly didn’t mean it in a bad way, but it just kinda made me feel a little bad about them😔.
I never thought anything wrong about mine but then my family made comments on it that made me feel terrible. And then a friend of mine told me "oh I don't have any hahaha" when I told her about it and it only made me feel more insecure. Unpopular opinion: 1,Being sexist, having toxic masculinity, and gender stereotypes is not okey because there are feminine males, masculine females/women, 2 , being ruse is not being a baddie or bad b its just being disrespectful,3, children have an opinion, they should be respected and they should be able to come to you and tell you what they feel they shouldn't be feeling guilty and stressed out about trying to tell you the personal secrets, problems, and feelings.
unpopular opinion: having anxiety / depression isn't 'quirky.'
yuh it isnt fun screaming and crying uncontrollably in the middle of the night with no particular reason, it isnt cool to be hurt, scared, stressed, etc. all the time, it's tiring to be deppresed, having anxiety and panic disorder isn't somehting to be proud of or something you wanna experience

Unpopular Opinion: The term "feminist" is being distorted and misused so much that sometimes a woman is afraid to admit that she's a feminist. And it makes it harder for her to stand up for herself and for other women.
Same stands for "intersectional feminist".

There’s the term egalitarian which means equality for everyone, I use that one instead just because most famous feminist don’t really fight for change they just bash men and create problems while pretending to fix them so it’s kinda embarrassing being connected to these people who are uneducated.

im very late but unpopular opinion: neither straight or gay should be the ‘default’. there shouldnt be a default at all, just let people live without assigning them a sexuality and gender.
