Despite the problems with the textures and animations, this is actually pretty decent for a matching game themed around PVZ. On the other hand however, this means EA and PopCap are getting desperate for money by copying the game styles of other games, which sucks. Why can’t EA and PopCap make an original idea for once? At least unlike PVZ3, this one feels more like a spin-off and not canon to the original game’s timeline. Lastly, there seem to be some pros and cons with reusing the music from PVZ Adventures. Reusing the music from that game tells me that EA and PopCap haven’t forgotten about that game (which could also mean that PVZ Adventures could make a potential comeback). At the same time however, this probably means they don’t actually have any good music composers at this point. My only hope is that this franchise doesn’t go down the same path Angry Birds did.

This game wasn’t created by EA/PopCap, they gave the license to developers ChocolatePanda. And the reused assets are just placeholder for when they actually get the resources to create their own.

Awful version. Early beta has Brain Taco and 4 types of zombies. This has one Basic zombie.
