    HOW TO REQUEST A TRICK:
    1. Find a performance of a trick on UA-cam that you would like to see on my channel, or even film yourself performing the trick and upload it to UA-cam.
    2. Copy that UA-cam link and go to the community page on my channel. (You have to be on a computer to go onto the community page, unfortunately it doesn’t show up on mobile devices)
    3. Comment in the page: (whatever you want to say really... like “please teach this!” Or “I would love it if you revealed this!” Something like that.) Then PASTE the link to the performance in your comment.
    4. Post your comment! And I will for sure look at everyones request! The people's tricks that I like will get a special shoutout and a tutorial for the trick in a future video!

@@bralexillusions9044 Yeah there are other versions of this trick without gimmicks, but they are not anywhere near as visual/fooling. Trust me, I also hate gimmicks; but this is the one exception for a gimmick trick i actually use often.

Great Trick. I would just like to say that if any of you are adding the three gimmick cards to a normal deck of cards, that you should remove the three normal face cards from the deck to avoid seeing doubles. In this case the 4 spades, 7 spades, 7 hearts.
Also I think the effect works best when the twelve "random" cards are not memorable picture cards as was the case in this excellent video.

    Hi Nathan!
This trick is brilliant! Spectators can't figure out a thing.
But I'm kind of worried to record this trick or do it live anywhere because some stuff doesn't add up. For instance, at 5:11, the order of the aces from bottom to top is Spades, Diamonds, Hearts, then Clubs. After you spread the twelve cards on the table and spread the aces on your hand at 5:44, the order form bottom to top goes, Hearts, Diamonds, Clubs, then, Spades.
If the audience is really, really, clever, they'll wonder how the order just got mixed up.
Another example is at 7:50, where you flip the card over and it's the Ace of Clubs, yet at 7:57, it becomes the 7 of Spades, which doesn't make any sense.
If you update and improve this trick, I'll be honest to say, this trick would be the best go-to "beginner" closing effect.
    PLEASE! :)
    Big fan!!!!!!!!!!!!
    Thanks.

    • @AMillionCardTricks
      @AMillionCardTricks  5 років тому +1

The first thing you mentioned can be fixed actually. First you take the Ace of spades off by itself, then the next ace along with the double backers and keep a break, then the other 2 normal aces. Continue by performing the same flip over move, and that problem should be solved.
The second thing however is a bit tricky to fix. If you don’t like that method of the vanish it is perfectly okay, you can use another way if you think it looks cleaner! Usually in my case, the spectators won’t notice that aspect if they aren’t paying attention too hard. Considering it’s the first phase they don’t know exactly what they’re looking for yet!

Nathan, thank you so much for this (and all the other) tutorial. I first saw the video of your performance, and I was amazed. Your act is really entertaining. I then wanted so much to add this trick to my repertoire, that I was able to "back engineer" the trick before this tutorial appeared.
The tutorial is, however, very helpful, thanks again!
There is a passage that I would like to discuss: when you remove the Ace of Clubs from the packet, stealing also the 3 double-face aces, it happens that you then add the other 3 normal aces, ending with Ace of Clubs on top, but when you flip the "random cards" packet, the Ace of Spades appears on the top of the 4 aces.
I know that in general spectators would not pay attention to such a detail, but in my opinion a workaround would be to: grab the Ace of Spades and then steal the 3 double-face cards while grabbing the next Ace on the top. In this way, as one flips the packet, the Ace of Spades is at the bottom of the 4 aces pack, as logically should be. What do you think?

What are your thoughts of this? what if you could then turn the deck face down and show the back? I have some people who may follow this and that would be a nice convincer, i was thinking of either a roughing stick or spray tack on the DF's to hide them at the end, completely. I can't figure out a justifiable sleight, that would allow me to take them out at the end. Do you think this would work, or do you think it would hinder the vanishing process?

The absence of any patter from Nathan leads me to believe that the book he found this trick in left out the patter. C'mon Nathan, say something original when you perform someone else's magic tricks. I understand-it would require some original thinking on your part.
