Tips, keep the crusts(acts as a border to hold the contents whilst cooking in, spread good quality English salted butter on outside of bread before placing into the the toaster, to give a buttery golden crisp outer coat. Instead of the American processed square cheese's (there is a place for them on the cheap burgers when you feel like them sometimes), use a Stilton. Personally I don't want cheese with beef but a corned beef toastie, well all toastie's need cheese. I would exchange sweetcorn for small squared cuts of white onions as think it would compliment the overall experience of this toastie. Once done, plate, trim the sides and do not discard. Use them to dip into something. Would have a light walnut and rocket salad on side and Branson Pickle as choice of condiment! Enjoy and keep up the great work!
