The hypocrisy among the Naga people is becoming increasingly evident. It was disheartening to see even pastors campaigning for the Congress in the Lok Sabha election and labeling the NDPP/BJP as a Hindu party. Pastors should not be involved in political campaigning; their duty is to pray for God's will to happen. Now, with the NDPP/BJP leading in all the wards at ULB election, where are all the Christian voters? It's clear that those who spent the most money are the ones winning.MONEY TALKS IN NAGALAND (BOTH LEADERS & VOTERS) This hypocrisy needs to be addressed.
Here are some reasons why the Congress won the Lok Sabha election in Nagaland:
1) Many NDPP and BJP members internally worked against their own parties in favor of Congress, believing Congress would form the government at the center. Amateur members played openly for Congress, while professional ones ensured NDPP led in their constituencies by a small margin, playing it safe.
2) Pastors campaigned in churches for Congress, portraying it as a Christian party and BJP as a non-Christian party.
3)Tribalism played a significant role in the election results, with certain tribes voting against their own party because they believed the other tribe was their enemy. The new generation should not follow our outdated thinking leaders. It's high time for Nagas to change our mindset
In that case, cut off ties with BJP and stand on your own NDPP. Stand for Christians if that's what you confess.

We Nagas are often too weak to stand firm against the influence of money and power. Many people preach against voting for the NDPP-BJP party during the L.S election, but when the ULB elections come around , they pray for those candidates victory. Similarly, followers like us may hate the party during L.S election, calling it an anti-christ party, but then vote for its candidates to be our leaders in our colony (ULB).
We voted for them in general election, defeated them in L.S elections and supported them in ULB elections. This switching from one party to another reveals our colour.
We are so hungry for money and power.
