- Baxter checks out a Jam Room here in North Carolina filled with cool guitars and some killer Buddy Guy and SRV Guitars and posters in todays episode. We love Jam Rooms and we wanna come crash yours!
Thats abit posh for a jam room baxter, come over to England and see mine! I'll empty the ashtrays and cat litter first I promise!
A great collection in a very clean, uncluttered and large room. My tiny "jam room/home office/former bedroom" looks like a scene from hoarders because of the huge amount of computer and guitar gear crammed in here.
From the fertile froth comes the distilled drop
@Frank Carr, your situation is probably more common than the nice, neatly organized jam room.
I was clearing out boxes (that I keep for shipping small stuff) out of a corner to put in a Hercules 6-guitar stand, and the boxes filled 1/4 of the room to the 12th fret of my strat (then on a floor stand like in the video). So I hear you on hoarders. I need to figure out how many guitars I have….somewhere around 12.
I hear yah! I have 31 guitars crammed into my 10x11 office, guitar room, man crevice (too small to be a cave).
Dang, that's a lot of guitars in a small space! I need to actually get the clothes out of my closet so I can store some guitar cases. :D (I keep things like t-shirts and jeans in a cubby storage system, so in practice the closet's been for suits and formal wear, and I'm not wearing that these days.)
I love seeing other people’s stuff, this was a fun jam room tour! I look forward to more episodes in this series ✌️
As a single guy, my whole house is a man-cave. Nothing quite as nice as that though!
You Americans are so lucky when it comes to access to great gear.
Most of us Work at this just as Much as any other guitarists in other countries although we are blessed to have access to so many fine instruments that are difficult to find overseas, this room more the glut on individual then reflection of American gig room, this is a rich guys playroom and man cave not a JAM Room for a Musician. In a Jam Room Primary Interest is the Music and Tone, the Sound, Not how pretty your Show off room is
Do the math. For a guy his age to have 15 guitars it’s really not that impressive. It’s like he bought on every 3 years or so for the last 30-40 years. Some of those are around the $1600-2400 dollar range. So save $2.25 a day and buy yourself guitars at 18 and you’ll have a room full also.
@@iceWaterProductions1 Forget the cheaper guitars. Custom shop is another price range altogether, and are often exclusive to the US. You can just buy a MIA Strat in Australia for $1600-$2400... And I've never seen a Buddy Guy Strat in the flesh, ever. As originally stated, a lot of people simply don't have access to gear Americans take for granted.
What a great concept for a new series! I'm really looking forward to more of these!
Really interesting collection and a great man cave. Thanks for sharing your setup John. Love this concept.
Nice, room. I had an Yngwine years ago... hated it. Scalloped frets hurt my fingers and the pickups were weak as hell! The one strat from the 90's i love and play to this is the Lonestar Strat. It has a Pearly gates in the bridge and 2 Texas specials in the middle and bridge. It gives you all you need for a Texas blues sound that you really don't get out of an SRV. Plus it has that modern bridge so you can use the whammy bar if u want too.
Amen on the Lonestar Strat. Have one myself, bought used 4 years ago on Reverb. Seller didn't advertise it as a Lonestar so I guess he didn't know it was. I ran across it just a few hours after posting and immediately jumped on it. In primo condition. Plays great and it's a keeper all the way.
Great cave and collection! Cheers John and Baxter!!
Man would have been cool if we could have had an outro jam with both of you playing little rhythm and lead back and forth. Cool video man keep them coming.
Very cool collection! Thanks for sharing.
That was just entirely fun. Great guitar collection! I am really looking forward to the next one Baxter, well done sir.
This is great Baxter.... More please. That's a big old room he has there...its bigger than my entire flat. 😂👍👍
That is an awesome / amazing room, congrats.
Insane (in a good way), beautiful collection! Congrats, that is a quite an accomplishment!
Cool collection. I bet that room sounds cool with the amp cranked.
My cave has a wall of acoustic guitars a wall of Gibson electrics a wall of Fender and Fender style electrics (scratch builds)and a wall of others Gretsch, danelectro and others. The floor is lined with many different flavors of amplifiers and a PA system. Big orential carpet in the center of the room with pedal board. All lit by stage and track lighting. Guitar work station with storage. Various forms of wall art and decor. I'm in the process of building a home on 10 acres with a badass studio. Wired for sound. And a bigger shop for building guitars. It's gonna be fun to put it together. I wish we could post pics.
Yeah everyone has that ..stuff.. but do you have any Harley Bentons ..or..Fireflys ..or ..a 1961 little red tricycle ? 👍😎🎸
This series is pure gold! I want to see what the other "Joe's" are up to... Puts GAS on my personal fire! Keep these videos coming and if you make it to Iowa stop by!
Casino, this reminds me of MTV Cribs, I dig it - great idea to the person who came up with it
Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous! It is a good old theme, and I like this new version!
Great to see the love for Buddy Guy!
dude is doin' it right! love that blue buddy guy strat!
I didn’t quite go full Johnny Winter as far as buying a Firebird for my collection but his version of jumping Jack flash is the only one I jam with😜
Spotted the SRV guitar first thing from across the room. I'm ready.
Baxter walked into my "guitar room" slap the crap outta me and called me a biatch!!!of course all I have in there is a glarry with chicken grease on it and pizza boxes.🤘😜👍j/k just tried to think of the worst room.Feeling those buddy guys!!!
I like that all the guitars have straps on them. He's not just displaying them, he's actually playing them.
Great idea for a show..He definitely digs other people’s guitars..Cool jam room.
I'm waiting for the episode with cig burns in the carpet, half empty quart bottles, piles of beer cans, Marshall stacks in a farm house and someone who looks like they just got out of bed, lol...great idea guys!
Beautiful room! Serious retirement goals right there...lol
What is most cool about this is your shop has some international recognition now and this awesome gentleman had to get puffed up like a tick to show off such an excellent collection to a bunch of gear heads (mostly at least!). Love y’all’s channel and very cool getting out of the shop into the public where the guitars go out into the world.
Heck, I might start my own TikTok channel (like the Car guy Daniel McDonald) going out to find awesome personal guitar collections and ask them, “What do you do for a living?!” 😂
This is great! We don’t always need to see rockstars collections.
Yes! This would be great to incorporate regularly. It reminds me of an Andrew Master’s home studio tours video except with jam spaces which is incredible!
Thank you Aaron. We are actually thinking of doing just that. There are a few rooms we really want to get into and just love seeing how folks show their guitar love:)
Baxter goes to his rich buddies house. No hate. Good on the dude for getting to his position in life. But is this a jam room or where Dad has to put his collection?
A lot more people could afford his lifestyle if they didn't spend so much money goofing off and buying disposable experiences and cheap junk from China! Maybe he is just wise with his money.
Great episode. We need Baxter and Jonathan’s jam rooms. Would love see a video of the tones from the guitars too
Man showing a guy that plays Fender Shop customs all day!! Courage.
What a great Jam Room! My first thought on the polka-dots was Randy Rhoads, but I did realize it was Buddy Guy (before he was named...) ... wonderful guitars and space
This is going to be a fun series!!! I have to break down my jam room in TX to move, but I will be setting it back up when we get to where we are going.
Great video! Again! Fast becoming my favourite channel.
Great concept. Nice jam room!!
Very cool collection!!
That is a awesome room. I just have a Marshall half stack, pedalboard, and two stands that I rotate guitars on in my living room.
Nice! Can't wait to show you my babies!
Keith, northeast of you!
Nice! Hope you keep doing this series.
A guitar without dust under the strings is technically a wall guitar.
1971 Quarter 🌜🌛!
Great room with some good and versatile gear! War eagle brother!
I need about half of those !
Killer segment....way cooler to see regular ppl's gear....this channel gets better and better each video....the genuine excitement is great....not a promo for an artist, this is just for fans
what an absolutely awesome jam room and video!!! This video gave me two very important realizations...one, I love guitars....two, my jam room sucks horribly
Awesome idea for a series!
How awesome. Baxter is the coolest.
Nice idea Baxter !!!!
Never has a man been in greater need of a tuner pedal
The Firebird looks beautiful!
Awesome room!!
Finally ! A Man with a Takamine GX-100
I have a GX-100 in Red Burst and matching GX-200 they are Awesome fun to play 🖤❤🎸🎶🤘😃🤟 !!
⚓️. Thanks Casino 😎
This is a really cool series! Thanks for sharing. Great vid!
If you ever want to do one of these in Nashville, you are more than welcome to come here. I don’t have as big a room is this guy, since our bonus room is half guitar world, half sewing world, but the guitar half is cool, and I have a very nice little collection, that has some gems in it.
Loved this!!
Brilliant, I hope this is just the beginning.
Lovely stuff. I'd love to live on 100 acres and not have to worry about disturbing my neighbours too :)
This was awesome! Such a cool concept!
my "jam" room has just enough space to change your mind.
Great segment! Keep them coming
Not completely certain but I think I have the same Pool Table in my studio. This was fun keep the series up.
What a great stash and a great room. Must be like a echo chamber in there.
@ Bert...that's what i was thinking. You'd want spoke kind of acoustic wall treatments to stop those reflections etc.
Hey, but what a cool room & collection' 😎
Every man cave needs a picture of dogs playing poker. Great man cave and collection.
THIS IS SO SICK
that makes my studio look like a wannabe starter kit, he has done a fantastic job of repping his guitar hero's, now I wanna see the basement where he plays and what's down there
cool idea!
Good for him.
I love this idea
Come up to the Poconos!! I’ll show you mine!
Great Guitar collection anyone would be proud to own nice pieces.
I need to buy the house next door to this guy! Very cool!
Baxter covered the broken hand resulting from the handshake very well.
1971 d quarter.
Field trip!
I just did this exact thing at my dad’s house last weekend 😂🤘🏻
Very impressive 😁👍
You can crash our jam cave anytime you want!!
actually a 1971 quarter🔥🤘(sorry for the nerd moment 😝)
“Nothing exceeds like excess.”
Gooder idea? Take the tuners off the m/c heads they could easy mark them. Top guitar horde. 😂Respect and stay healthy all.
Nice play room!
This will give rate or roast a run for it's money ,great idea subbed ,and liked. How do you get on ? cuz I got a doozy !
Rudolph is the big brother in Michael is the little brother. Just to clarify.
I was shooting from the hip! Thanks!
I am jealous !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Lotta relief in the Yngwie’s neck. Seems like that would be a problem.
Not a problem if it's just a show piece... no tuner on the Yngwie headstock so maybe he prefers his other strats?
I was thinking of getting a jam room going, but now I'm afraid that if I do, Baxter will crash it. So, out of fear of Baxter crashing my jam room, I opt for no jam room at all.
Actually, Rudolf is the big brother to Michael.
Wanna come to Colorado?
Hope there is going to be a more in depth look some minted guitars cool man
Is this the blues lawyer you guys were talking about a while back?
No les pauls? Es 335s?
I see it i see it. Was thinking of a burst. The black beauty was nice.
I was waiting to hear you Play through some of those Amps and Guitars that appear more decoration then a functioning JAM Room, it looked more like a Collectors Home then a Players Gig Room or Jam Room, GZreat Gear but rather see a Broke mans Room full of stuff he struggled to get not the excess of the obseneely wealthy
That’s a very cool idea for a great show my friend. I watch all your videos. If your ever in the Rio Grande Valley South Texas, stop by. Your welcome to check out my jam room and guitar collection.See you on the flip side ,brother.
Little bit high end fir the average person 😂
Come to my jam spot! I’m not far from y’all in upstate SC.
Wanna see my mess of guitars? 😂😂.
More a cavern than a cave
