80's and 90's Bee Gees were so underrated. It's like after Saturday Night Fever no one cared about them anymore even though they continued to make awesome music. I fully understand why they started writing songs for other artists at that time.

Here's the thing. ALL of them are amazing and have their own amazing voice. NO ONE was ever overlooked. You need to watch them more closely. Every brother was loved and appreciated. Look at Barry's eyes when his brothers sing. Look at Robin stare at his twin with love and adoration. Look at Mo give props to Robin and his smiles toward his big brother Barry. Look at them ALL. On live videos, find them and watch them. It's not fake love. Look at their eyes closely. It's real brother love and Maurice was never overlooked or left out.

Well said! Maurice actually was the catalyst when it comes to their melody writing. He would come up with chords on the piano which would inspire Barry and Robin to elevate their ideas to perfection!

Having been born in 1980, my first serious encounter with the Bee Gees music was the 1997 album Still Waters. I then bought a Bee Gees Best Of CD and was blown away! Simply the finest harmony pop band ever!
The talents of Mo is criminally underrated and largely unnoticed by the general public. And for Barry and Robin: Musical geniuses!
I discovered the Bee Gees in the 60's and been in love with them ever since.I've seen them in concert in Germany,The Netherlands and the USA,I spent a weekend at the Sunny Isles Country Club,Barry organises a tennis tournament in aid of the American Heart Foundation.I watched him play tennis and met him and two of his sons,(Ashley and Michael).I was in the audience for the filming of their music video for "One" and at the after party,where I got to dance with Barry and Maurice and met their wives.I feel so privileged to have done all this.They are amazing.No-one compares to them for their singing/writing skills.Love them forever.

Barry Gibb, the last man standing, has recently released a gem of an album called Greenfields. Bee Gees classics in duets with country artists. Its a flawless album.
When the 'hits' dried up in the 80s & beyond, these guys were underrated. This song, 'Alone', 'Immortality' just to name a few great songs that never got their due.
Barry Gibb is the consummate artist. Singer, writer, producer and performer. Add Robin Gibbs angelic voice and Maurices overral musical excellence (He was a superb keyboardist, pianist and guitar/ bass player) and you've got a recipe for high quality timeless music. Bee Gees music will never die, thats for sure. Just like The Beatles and The Beach Boys their music will go on forever.
