I just started up my old SLT 286 and the power brick let out the magic smoke! I should have removed those Rifa's first 🙂

Same, well just 1 X2 cap blew.. Just now.. 30 minutes ago.. LoL (the smoke smell is still in my nose and hands) The battery is still working I guess... I put it on my workbenchpowersupply for 5 minutes and could start the laptop for 1 minute with that charge in it..
