Yes, it is the hand of God. Wike thought he was being smart, as he had to prove to Tinubu that he will deliver Rivers to APC. He cannot defect, because if he does, he will lose control of Rivers PDP, and the governor will take over effectively, installing new Rivers PDP leadership at state, local government and ward levels. The new PDP leadership will in-turn support the governor in installing new local government Chairmen. And that is what will happen eventually, if Fubara orders his steps carefully with sound legal and political advice and support. Tinubu's illegitimate mandate is the very force driving the crisis, because he cannot sustain it in a free and fair election. So he makes deals with characters like Wike to help him in the states.
