I grew up in California where if you drop a seed and walk on it you get a garden. LOL Here, not so much. Snow frost tornado's 40,50, 60 mile an hour wind. Danger of last frost is mother's day so I'm ready to get ready!!!

I’ve had much luck waiting until the end of season/started plants at nurseries and home improvement places (Menards, Ace Hardware, Home Depot, etc). Of course, I don’t know what zone you’re in, but I’m in 5b, and they start slashing prices beginning the first week of June because the plants are starting to outgrow their pots and will just be thrown out. It’s slim pickins at that point, but just last year I found a few habaneros, bell peppers, and tomatoes for 99 cents! A couple of them were not looking good, but I knew I could bring them back, and I did! I mostly start from seed, but I still can’t resist those late season sales.
Moving is hard work, especially with a garden. Congrats on your PBS show 🤩! It's good to see you back, TFS!
