Still a brilliant actress, still beautiful. Also fine acting from the young man and the little boy. Surprising the BBC did not snap this up after the stage run. (Later 1987 with Helen Mirren is on dvd.)

The young boy is my brother! This was at Her Majesty’s Theatre in 1976. Sadly I was too young to see the play so I’m very happy to have this clip available. This was a promotional video made for “Nationwide” the 70’s version of The One Show.

Saw this in London when I was doing a semester at Syracuse University London Centre. Got to meet her at the stage door. She was charming!

Thank You! -- you know what's great?
Even with zero context, zero back-knowledge of the play and its characters, still it's exciting to see her perform.

@@DamienSlattery68 yes! For me, born in 1973, it started with MaryPoppins. Then mom's vinyl record collection into Sondheim's A Little Night Music ....and i worked at a movie theater when "While You Were Sleeping" came out ❤❤❤

Thank you. I am afraid that this is all there is as the filmed this during previews for promotional use I think.
