Thank you! My 16 yr old son asked me to buy him his first shaver and of course Im clueless, I had to look it up on UA-cam. Thank you again! I'll use your link and send him your video.
Thank you. I couldn’t decide on whether to get this one or the regular version which was $13 more. I just needed a trimmer for edging and cleaning up the neck/cheek and I’m not a teenager lol
Nice video Tony I see you made it home from your travels. Does this one blade first shave get closer than the regular one blade trimmer?
No, it’s a bit different, but I can’t tell why to be honest. But the shave is comparable.
Thank you for such a great review! You have a way of making beard shaving interesting 🙂 I was trying to decided between this one and the more expensive options for my nephew. You sold this one to me, he barely has any hair so paying extra would be unnecessary at this time.
I’ve had this product for years. It’s pretty good but not a super close shave. And misses hairs going in an off direction. Plus it has a small surface area. I’m looking to get a Panasonic arc-5 next.
love one blade as well, great review for the beginners using this device . Stay safe brah....cheers...Peter
I have the original version of oneblade (the oneblade OG if you will) for shaving my head. It went well until recently I started to get a razor bump on my head. Would you say the oneblade first shave can reduce or even eliminate the razor bump for head shaving? Thx!
I’d say that you may be using too much pressure or you may need a new cartridge. What part of your head are you getting the bumps?
Man, I wish I liked this product as much as I like you. You have a great natural way of communicating. That said, I'm sorry to say I did not care for the OneBlade at all for two main reasons. 1) The shave it gave me was nowhere near the smoothness of my foil shaver, and 2) it takes literally about five times longer to do the (inferior) job. Still, you could almost sell screen doors for a submarine. Bravo. : )
Do you think this would work well on the peach fuzz on a mature woman’s face? Hair is fine, sometimes long, blond hairs. Thx. Edit: do the One Blade Pro give a closer shave?
Hola, me podrías decir si las cuchillas son compatibles entre sí en ambos modelos? Magnífica revisión, gracias
Yes, they use the same blades as well as the new 360 blades. Thanks for watching 👋🏽
With respect to replacement blades.... Do you find any difference in performance between the traditional and the youth blade?
I did, but I can’t put my finger on it. I’m sure they use the same blades - so maybe it was just in my head.
do you recommend this over the regular one blade for getting replacement blades for the old one blade? in terms of using it as a general trimmer?
would this work for body hair also? like leg or chest hair too? or should i get the regular one blade?
This would work for body hair - there’s a body kit that you can buy that fits all the OneBlade models. Look for that and thanks for watching 👋🏽
fountain of youth, do you feel like a teenager again LOL another great vid thanks
Could you try the Braun Series 9 Pro? I’ve watched all your reviews and I’ve been using the OneBlade Genesis but I’ve gotten curious about Braun lately. Especially how you’d compare a full-sized Braun electric to your favorite razor.
@@averageguytested I love the enthusiasm, especially as your preference has seemed to change to wet shaving vs electric. I admittedly haven’t had good luck with electric razors including the Philips OneBlade as they irritate my face and shave unevenly. Unfortunately for me while it’s an incredibly well-built foil shaving machine I’ve having the same experience with the Braun Series 9 Pro.
The Norelco OneBlade is an amazing body groomer and Braun created the best foil shaver possible with the Series 9 Pro, but it comes down to individual skin and hair types. I get a night-and-day difference wet shaving, so I’m considering purchasing the Supply SE and the Twig to go along with my OneBlade Hybrid as well as OneBlade blade refills. This can become overwhelming since I feel like I’ve tried every razor and still haven’t found the ‘perfect’ fit for me. The OneBlade Hybrid is the closest I’ve come, and it is a phenomenal razor.
@@averageguytested what the fuck happened to the rest of your face. you didn't finish
After this video Mr sucker for marketing is now the Ambassador for Philips OneBlade 😅
how much time does a blade last in your case? and how often you shave a week?
I can’t give you a real estimate because of all the shaving reviews that I do - I can say that I haven’t bought many replacement blades at all over the years so they are pretty durable. Thanks for watching 👋🏽
I think it is time for you to try the Braun Series 9 Pro. You actually have to now.
As an 17yo i love the channel and i will stick to love watcing you perform a shave (specially using a de)
I'm a total sucker for Kandace Springs and marketing she's so beautiful she's a jazz singer!
can u shave your side head hair & back neck?
You can, but only small areas - I’d go with a trimmer with more horsepower for hair trimming.
Is this the same as the regular one?
It’s an entry level price point and the blade seems a bit milder, but yes, very similar.
@@averageguytested thanks i was trying to find something for my younger brother since he doesn't feel comfortable yet with a twig i got him
OneBlade does the job easy and quick - only thing I don‘t like, the trimmed hair just fly all over the place
it looks way more effective than the other one blade imo.
@@averageguytested i don't know if it's me or something but by he sound it seems more powerful.
I have that same model, and it has a lower pitch sound when you compare it with the button model.
For me no matter what kind of Electric razor it is they don't give me a good shave in the neck area
You’re a truly OneBlade ambassador! I’ve just watched like 3-4 your videos about the product itself and its variations, and just ordered it. Hopefully, I will be at the same level of excitement. 🎉
I hope that you do enjoy it as much as I do. It may take a bit to get your skin to acclimate to the razor, especially on the neck, but once you get the hang of it, it’s gold! Also, remember to shave against the grain
How the experience ??? It's delivered in my house and it can't charge.
