At 6.15 the Complementario route adds 1km to the journey to Pontevedra. It's a lovely walk along a winding stream, but if you want to find a cafe, then go the other way. The advice I was given to avoid blisters (and thankfully I've only had one in 9 weeks on the Camino since 2017) was to always break-in your boots before the trip and to wear socks that don't move across your foot as you walk. I wear cycling socks which fit tightly.

Great info. Thanks!
4:25 yum! rocky road...
Ice cream!!!
Excellent video - loved the small creeks and streams with fish! I will bring my fly rod and practice catch & release while on the camino!
Thank you Pat. I’m glad we were able to share a glimpse of our experience walking the Camino with you.
Hi again, was water plentiful along the way?
Yes it was. Plenty of towns and shops along the way. No worries.
I feel tired just thinking about all the walking you are doing
It’s a lot of hiking but it pretty flat and easy. No heavy boots or packs needed.
