Hi Technical Techs its a very good tutoriial that you have shared. I have a confusion where should i get cluster name.
Thanks your great videos, step by step finished creating vg_http-lv_http on node1 , But I can't see it on Node2 . Must I create it again on Node2?
Excellent information! do you have your own learning website?
+Digambar Asgekar thanks for your comments .. we don’t have yet .. maybe we will create in future with your good wishes. Please subscribe our channel and share with all your friends
Good job
+Mukesh Kumar thanks bro
Thank you ! for reply.
SIR, Can u share ur Persnal experience about cluster and what are the issue come when creating cluster how can solve that issue in live server.
This video is very informative except you added stuff on the shared lun creation such as adding authentication and node acl's that you did not do in the previous iscsi video. What do those attributes do exactly?
Do i need to create VG for node 2 ? I have created vg in node2 but my data are not getting sysnc with node1 thati have mounted
Hello,
Very nice video. I followed it step by step and everything works but I have a problem with storage server. After I reboot it, none of the node servers are able to see the disks. If I use lsblk on storage system I see the lv created on node 1 though. Do you happen to know what could I do in order for the both nodes to see it? (restarting iscsid service on nodes doesn't help)
Which installation you have done. I installed minimal installation but I am neither able to copy and paste nor able to select the command.i also want to do same installation which you have done.
Is this a active/active cluster or active/passive cluster?
Thanks to watch my video . I hope you have subscribed my channel if you did not please do it .. by the way this is active and passive .
Thank you. So how do we configure which node is active and which is passive?
Please watch the video I have explain the same. If face any issue reach me krishan.linux@gmail.com
Great video sir, but Fencing is not implemented here??
+dipesh kumar thanks to watch my video . I hope you subscribe our channel. Yes we did not configur fence because of limit ram in my lap laptop .
Technical Techs thanks. for quick reply, how to proceed ahead if want to install oracle database using pacemaker.
+dipesh kumar we did not have any expertise on Oracle .
Hello ,,,,
I liked this video and installed rhel 7.2 (in 2 nodes) on oracle virtual box ,, how ever instead of iscsi i had directly shared disk from my virtual box it self
Now i had installed the PCS* packages (used same command like in your video ) but im not able to see the hacluster user and not able to start the pcsd services can you please help me in getting this sort out
+Kalyanram Tadinada thanks to watch my video .. I hope you subscribe my channel for latest video. And if you didn't please subscribe first of all . First of all , you have to use iscsi or openfiler to share disk but if you will use simple disk . It will not work in cluster . Second , yes you will not get hacluster or pcs. Service until you will not install all package . For that you have to take care two things one , you have to copy all packages from iso which located in different location as compare to normal packages and second you have to use * during installation of packages , thereafter you will able to see hacluster and pcs service .

You could try using --skip-broken to work around the problem
You could try running: rpm -Va --nofiles --nodigest
[root@server1 init.d]#
+Kalyanram Tadinada .. your yum doesn't have pcs complete packages . You have to mount iso and before packages folder there is another folder ha in which you will get all pcs packages . Just copy all those packages in your yum directory and recreate repo with createrepo command and try to install again from stretch. This time you will not get this error .
Offtopic but I didn't get it, how storage knows which server is allowed to use these luns? I think you miss the proper ACLs, so other servers can also discover same lun
Thanks to watch my video but I think you should check again I have provide iscis initiator id of both servers for your information
When I enter pcs cluster auth client1.example.com client2.example.com server.example.com error shows unable to communicate with client1.example.com
firewall-cmd --add-port=2224/tcp --permanent && firewall-cmd --reload
i haven't got pacemaker package...what to do
+akshay dhote thanks to watch my video . I hope you have subscribed my channel . For package of pacemaker you have to mount iso and there is one directory HA . You will get all package from it . You have to copy all rpms in your yum repo and run createrepo then you will run yum install packemaker
Thanks a lot ...I m able to install pacemaker
How to create virtual IP in rhel7
+Syam B thanks to watch my video . Please subscribe our channel to get latest video updates . You will create virtual up during creation of cluster .. without cluster or HA you can’t create virtual ip .
I'm installed the cluster packages in our machine then how to create virtual IP during install packages
+Syam B give me your number .. on krishan.linux@gmail.com .. let’s discuss
Not for beginners. keeping such a long clusters name is not good.
Thanks for watch. But this video is not for beginner...
I am not saying for beginners in the sense that he is new in Linux but mean that he wants to learn Cluster.
