Derby Waterside - Our vision for the future

The Derby & Sandiacre Canal Trust (DSCT) is proud to present our latest vision for rejuvenating the riverfront along the river Derwent - Derby Waterside.
The Derby Triangle will be the focal point of our proposed development, and will include:
The Derby Arm - a national attraction connecting the newly restored Derby Canal to River Derwent, which will include a visitor's centre.
The Waterfront - a number of shops and restuarants to service both visitors and locals.
The Marina - Allows for the mooring of boats; and many become a hub of further developments such as hotels, shops and premium waterside housing,
The redevelopment of the Derby Waterside will continue into the city centre, where we envision new locks to allow easy passage along the River Derwent, allowing trip boats to make full use of the river.
