- In this episode we are delighted to welcome the remarkable Colin Bell. Colin has helped many bereaved families repatriating the bodies of their loved one's who have died abroad in sudden or tragic circumstances, and bringing them home to their families.
The Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust was founded out of a family tragedy when, in June 2013, Kevin Bell died suddenly in New York. Following an outpouring of support from Kevin’s friends, family and colleagues, a significant amount of funds were raised to repatriate his remains back to Ireland. As a permanent legacy to Kevin, the Bell family decided to use the funds to establish a charity to help other families who find themselves in a similar situation.

Colin & the Bell family are the royalty of NI! True treasures of the country. I pray for nothing but abundance for the Bell family. The work they have done over the years will never be repayable. Can’t shout about this family enough! 🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍
Unreal podcast . What an amazing family . Helping so many that need help during a sad time. KBRT . Such an emotional podcast .
Such an amazing personal service at the worst time in a family's life, born out of their own tragedy & grief! What a legacy from the Bell Family💚
Brilliant service for those unfortunate to have a relative die in faraway places . Total respect for him and family.
Huge respect for Mr Bell and the absolute Trojan work he & his family do💚 thanks for the pod, lads!!
I put off watching this one for a while as i knew it would be emotional. What an amazing family, go through their own tragedy and still help thousands of others who have lost someone abroad. Also how they don't harbour resentment towards those two drivers, takes unbelievable strength ❤
Great podcast Owen and Sean.
Thank you for the words on Matty. KBRT and Colly are unbelievable.
I was part of a fundraiser for KBRT a few years back and was glad I was but little did I know that unfortunately we would need there help. So as you said raise funds for charities like this because you don't know when you will need them. Someone said to me recently you never thought you would meet a Saint on earth but Colin Bell is one.
RIP Matthew. Missed always my brother from a different mother. 💔
As a Scottish catholic with fully Irish roots I completely understand the same funeral and grieving process. We lost my uncle suddenly, he died 28th Sept and we didn’t receive his body until around 10 days later if not more, and another week before we could bury him. Many people don’t understand it but 10 days feels like a lifetime. We want them home and to spend all the time we can with them before saying our goodbyes and the thought of them being alone until such times is horrendous. God bless this man and his family 💚
Grief doesn’t discriminate. Regardless what side of the border or beyond, it’s a beautiful thing you do 💚
An amazing podcast, very emotional. Unreal work from the KBRT
