The FitnessGram™ Pacer Test is a multistage aerobic capacity test that progressively gets more difficult as it continues. The 20 meter pacer test will begin in 30 seconds. Line up at the start. The running speed starts slowly, but gets faster each minute after you hear this signal. [beep] A single lap should be completed each time you hear this sound. [ding] Remember to run in a straight line, and run as long as possible. The second time you fail to complete a lap before the sound, your test is over. The test will begin on the word start. On your mark, get ready, start.
Okay so i don't know much about racing, but it looks like a takeaway from this video is that super sticky tires are actually worse for cornering, not better, which is counterintuitive for me
I think the AI calculated more cornering speed than it actually had, so the cars braked less and therefore entered corners far too fast for the suspension to handle, hence rolling. Otherwise, this seems more like suspension was made infinitely stiff and not tires infinitely sticky. Infinite grip tires should mean no under/oversteer but idk. I think the cars just turned too fast. These results are weird.
Yeah, the more traction you have for tires, the better. This is how BeamNG's *AI* reacts to the tires, and since they normally don't have to deal with rollover due to tires losing traction first, the video demonstrates a flaw in their logic capabilities.
I suspect it's more that the AI doesn't include weight transfer in its calculations. It sees infinite grip and assumes it can literally corner like it's on rails.
Good point. Not one of the AIs tried slowing down coming into those corners -- even though every car ahead of them is flipping over. That's why it's called "artificial" intelligence.
My guess is the game took the infinite grip into the calculation, which broke the calculation, and the AI just did not respond accordingly, entering corners far too fast under the calculation that they could make the turn.

Welcome to the car pal grand prix 2024! we have 10 cars vying for a spot of 1 million dollars and even more sticky tires. Oh wait speaking of sticky tires, we have tires so sticky you won't fall from a uneven obstacle alright? on your marks, get set, GOOOOOOOOOO!
AI's logic: I need to slow down enough so that I don't lose traction going around this turn. *Give the AI tires that don't lose traction ever* AI's logic: I don't need to slow down nearly as much because these tires have insane traction. The AI doesn't take into account the center of gravity when determining the speed to take the turn at.
But with more traction you get better handling. Why did the AI decide to drive at full speed through these corners, while normally they would actually use the brake?
How exactly does this work? From the looks of it, the cars are going full speed into the corners without breaking, and because the tires are gripping to the road the cars flip over instead of sliding/spinning out. Is the AI taking tire grip into account when cornering, but not downforce?
Ah yes, torture session. The torture session from Car Pal. The torture session done specifically by Car Pal on cars. That torture session?

well at least its easy to win a race as a human, just gotta slow down
God the laguna seca turn is so funny. It's like you put a giant cartoon magnet near the road.
If only they were sliding on mayonaise
wirtual reference lol
🤣🤣....
This is Top Gear UK V 3.0 !
+1 like. merci. 💛💛
Man, I love Car pal videos. Always giving you the wreckfest feeling. 💯
Ohhh so thats how they get cars to spontaneously flip and roll in action movies
can you put same in f1 car or dragster, maybe there there downforce would win against sticky tires?
Takes “rollover risk” to the next level.
It basically creates High Siders for cars.
Brilliant!
Greetings from the Netherlands
give cars with impossibly sticky traction impossibly low centers of gravity

Can't the ai break lol😭😭

idea: same as there but: multiply the bracke power so they bracke just enow to not flip (prob, 1000%+)
I really want to see this with f1 cars
3:15 Bro same! (Bro really had to use the joke 🤣)

Nowhere near the downforce required for those tires!
In fact, I'm pretty sure the downforce you'd need would pancake the car at speed.
One would assume that sticky is better. If the physics are accurate, I need a science for dummies explanation of this.
Because the cars can't "slide" when going into the corner you can think of it as full lock steering at high speed.
AI's logic: I need to slow down enough so that I don't lose traction going around this turn.

Giving cars infinite traction and then not doing a single brake test is diabolical
High down force but extremely low friction next pls lol
We need a questionable race of that @MuYe
*Flips his car at the first turn*
NOT A CRASH
Looks like the first turn I tried after putting ProLine tires with M4 compound on my RC car!
But with more traction you get better handling.

The cars be like on the race:losing control.the gray car

Great choice for the first test.
I'm now looking at the course on Google Maps because I never realized there's a roundabout there.

Whats next? Increased downforce next but traction reduced to half?
How exactly does one obtain these tires? I would love to use them in some drag builds of mine
What's the mod?
they didnt even attempt to brake before the corner lol
More ideas more chaos
so yeah, grippy tires isn't good for track but for drag
Give some tires to the cars that make them drive like if they were on very slippery ice 😂 I wanna see it
Idea: If I touch you, you spin out and do a blowover (Hint: Use the blowover mod 😉)

great video 🎉
i'd like some tires if thats possible
Make the slipperiest tires you can

How did you do this with the tires i want it aswell
Lovely stuff 👍
