Thanks to Raju sir for providing this concert all those years ago.
Without a doubt, this is a perfect display of the great TNS in his youthful prime. His vast repertoire, breathtaking brigas, cerebral imagination, impressive innovation and total surrender to tradition and immersion to the musical artform are all there for everyone to enjoy. Pay attention to his brilliant grahabhedams in the Hamsanandi alapana and try to identify them.
MSG and Trichy Sankaran shine brightly throughout. You can't help but be wowed by their excellence.
