We just started the 100 envelope challenge and girl it’s a stretchhhh lol. We try to do at least 2 a week because we’re planning to use it to get another car 🙏🏻. It’s a visual que when I walk in my room and see the jar full of money. I’ve done 150 envelopes in 2019. And several hundred envelope challenges since then. But your envelopes are totally cute and reusable from challenge to challenge💫

Since I'm still low variable income, I honestly stuff the challenge when I can with either my Instacart side hustle earnings (when I have time to do so T-T) or with the small amounts of tips I make weekly from working at Starbucks. I know it'll take some time for me to reach that end goal, but I'm still having so much fun stuffing the envelopes and saving :) I think I'm torn between being done with this summer heat but also not looking forward to this fall semester XD
Honesty, at the beginning of my journey I struggled to do my $1K challenge which was just $10-20 per week. I've found ways to bring in more money and saved LITERALLY everything I could so that I could continue in entrepreneurship full time. Your journey is probably NOTHING like mine but whatever it is... if you continue to save what you can and bust your butt to bring in funds... you'll see progress. Comparison is the thief of joy... your journey is your own. Embrace it!

I started this recently, this might be a dumb question, but how do you take money with you , eg if you go grocery shopping. Do you just take out what you think you will need, or do you take all the money from the grocery pocket? Ive been taking the whole thing and i get so nervous someone will rob me and take all my money 😅
I’m not flashy with my money. I carry my moterm wallet with me everywhere it has all of my cash envelopes, “gas, grocery, shopping, eating out”. I’ve never felt unsafe. People carry cash all the time lol. Now if I need money out of a sinking fund I’ll just pull it out and take what I need. I dont carry those around.
