Absolutely f#ckn crazy and amazing. For context folks, i had a common garter snake in my yard the other day that is non venomous. Out of curiosity I attempted to handle it to see if it is as easy as David makes it look (never was bitten by the one i had captured and kept for a few weeks as a kid, interested to see if that would hold true again). Been watching your videos. I was recommended to because you are quote, a crazy guy who handles snakes the poorest on UA-cam. I’ve made a few observations. Wanted to give your channel a month of watching before I commented anything. I’ll start with the good. You’re super knowledgeable. You have an interesting fact to bring up about damn near every species you encounter, and it comes truly off as natural (not something you googled right there), so either you’re an incredible actor, or your passion is legit. I’m inclined to believe the latter, and it’s one of the things that’s kept me as a viewer. Second the quality of the videos. Your crew is professional grade, really impressive for an outdoor, nature based channel. Third being able to shoot on location. Encountering each species in their natural habitat is not only educational, but incredibly exciting. Now I’ll share my criticisms, and I want to begin with saying I don’t want to come off as hating, just think they’re areas you should consider. First I’ll address you’re handling as it’s probably the most controversial topic. There’s really no need to sugar coat it, you need more practice. It’s something I think you should acknowledge to viewers, and to your credit you’ve really improved upon since the earliest uploads, but even in this video your holds aren’t high enough for this snake until about 10 minutes, and while it’s strike range is rather short, your experience with getting spit in the eye should’ve taught you to go a bit higher up. I also think ignoring it makes you come off as very insecure. Can’t stress enough you genuinely are improving, but acknowledging it would go a long way towards healing your reputation. Secondly, it’s pretty apparent that the recent uptick in positive comments are bots/fake accounts. Generating positive feedback autonomously only multiplies the idea that you have insecurities. Again to be fair you certainly not the only UA-camd doing this, but given your passion, and the quality of content it’s really not necessary. If you want to be viewed more positively try engaging your audience more directly. Be more transparent about your skill set, and goals. I’m the end I hope this reaches you, and hope it something you take to heart. I’m staying subscribed in the hopes to see you continue to grow throughout the years.

Such calm, such knowledge to manipulate Naja kaouthia with is one a the most dangerous snake. In fact you never say "it is highly agressive" you says as the reality "only defensive". In fact these snake only do mock strikes (only one real strike if you look carefully) and it is definitely the proof that he don't want to kill you but just defend himself. Your reading of the snake behaviour is remarkable. I have an information for you that you will appreciate, I think you know that like a lot of species the Naja kaouthia have change his name a lot of time. The formal describer is Lesson, 1831, but I don't know if you know one of his other name Naja naja sputatrix Bourret, 1937 and it definitely prove that these describer have note that these species was able to spit their venom in a certain way.
