Suhr Guitars is one of the few guitar companies that listen to what their customers tell them. The new Suhr Classic Pro line is the epitome of that partnership. The Classic Pro guitars are made for the working guitarist that wants a meat and potatoes guitar with the playability and tone of a custom shop instrument. Old meets new, The time proven vintage design marries those classic tones, with modern improvements that brings out better stability in tuning, consistency in playablility, and accuracy in intonation. The bodies are built out of Alder tone wood.
The necks are precise quarter-sawn maple with the Evne C Medium fret profile, with your choice of maple of Indian Rosewood fretboard utilizing a 9-12" compound radius. The rolled edges add the "broken in" comfort that makes the neck feel like an old friend!
The Classic Pro Series also gives you the option of three vintage style single coil pickups or the popular HSS configuration with a humbucking pickup in the bridge position and two single coils in the middle and neck positions. Another really amazing feature is the included SSCII Silent System. This helps to retain true vintage tone without the noise.
The best part about these guitars is the price. Your wallet will love you for buying this guitar. Stop in, call, email or chat with the Suhr experts, N Stuff Music. .

This video so far shows off the beauty of those single coils and this guitar the best, I've seen.
Excellent job, Marcus Lucas/N Stuff Music.
I love this guitar
really love note choice..
Briliant explanation and playing as always. I'll by one... Probably a Hss version... Is that guitar has a roasted maple neck for better stability? Cheers from Brazil!
Super !!!
I hope you can respond to this inquiry. Mark, What guitar do you prefer, an Eric Johnson Rosewood or a Suhr Classic Pro ? thankyou for your advice.
Suhr classic pro..
perfectly played. but i don't know if i like how that guitar sounds. there seems to be a lack of sparkle somehow. maybe i'm deaf today.
+BigEdWo I think you've put your finger on it. I've tried out Suhrs and they are really nicely made but they just don't sparkle like a strat should.
OllytheOl that's nice. i'm not the only one.
I have this guitar I'm not a fan of the V70 I swapped them out for some Michael Landau standards also made by suhr they are essentially a Vintage 63 pickup but just a wound a Tad hotter they are much better than the V70s imo but to get the MLs by suhr in these production line you have to go for an antique model unless you go custom
BigEdWo Thats because of the noise cancelling system in the circuit. It rolls off the high end a bit.
ROCK ON
I really think the only shortfall of this guitar are the pickups. The whole guitar is badass and ss frets are the best, but the pickups just do not have that classic fat strat single coil sounds. There is just something thin sounding about them.
Yeah I have this guitar the sonic blue model the guitar plays like a dream but I'm currently in process of a changing the pick ups to some suhr Michael landau Standards they have that single coil tone your looking for they are basically a slightly overwound 61 strat pickup
Observing Humanity They got different pickups through the years for the classic pro sss. The early versions got nickel frets and more middy pickups.
I have one.. tested here in the link below by my pal.. its how u play around with the tone knobs.. for mine, u can still get that thick single coil tone. 2015 Suhr Classic Pro with V70. instagram.com/p/CE33a0mHHdm/?igshid=lq2ssgkdp3l4
What was the purpose of switching out guitars that are “virtually” the same guitar for the overdrive...? 🤨🧐
Its red. Its hot.
It's almost silent, except when you throw the dirt peddle.
Still more quiet with it than without
slowly dancing with a guitar in a burning room!?
I'll never understand why Suhr decided to make their headstocks look like something that was designed in some Indonesian factory by the guy who's just in charge of cleaning out the coffee maker.
I was of the same opinion (being a long time Fender player/lover) but once you play one and see how amazing these Suhr guitars are compared to 'the real thing' then you realize how subjective beauty is :-)
Absolutely Ridiculous reply
Actually, it's a long heritage. John Suhr got his first headstocks from Tom Anderson when he started his business (that's why both look similar). Now, there isn't much wood to alter a Tom Anderson headstock to make it your own, that's why Suhr's is basically just a slimmer variant of Anderson's. :)
Kris Ruston
I agree entirely.
I thought the same too when I never owned one. Now I have two Suhr Guitars lol.. I guess it doesn’t bother me so much like before initially 😂😂. They’re so damn good.. they serve thy guitar players very very well.
its almost awkward watching this guy play..
Yeah, almost.... LOL
They need to blur him out
How could they be worth $500 plus for wood and china sell them for $500
Much better the PRS Silver Sky John Mayer
