Member of the Garden Congregation here listening to and watching this dearest, most holy man, Dean Robert. The intense pain of his sudden passing renders my heart and soul. I need to hear him, which can be done via the marvelous videography of Fletcher. I will always be a member of the Garden Congregation.
This is wonderful, thank you (both ie Fletcher) for the invaluable lessons - beautiful - tears listening to the Q & A - GOD Bless you Dean Robert Willis - RIP and Rise in Glory
What a lovely surprise to see our dear Dean Robert pop up on my phone screen and know that Fletcher is right nearby with his camera. I was transported back to the Deanery garden with our little friend, the robin and the cats, Leo, Lilly and Tiger. I became so attached to Dean Robert and all the animals and the beauties of the garden itself, with Fletcher coming through loud and clear through the camera every morning, that it is rather a bittersweet moment to hear and see Dean Robert again. His voice has always been so calming and comforting and his words filled with spiritual depth and rich meaning. He still has so much to teach and to give to the Body of Christ, the church. I still thank God daily for bringing Dean Robert and Fletcher into my life and for leaving us their legacy of garden videos and readings that we can go to whenever we need some spiritual medicine from our dear friend, Dean Robert. God bless and keep you both🌷🐈🐈⬛ 🩷🩵💙🙏🏻🐦⬛
How lovely to hear and see Dean Emeritus Robert Willis for us in the G.C. What a beautiful church St.Paul’s Episcopal Church is! St Benedict’s three strands ; study, encouragement and balance. Thomas Merton’s life was interesting. Awe and wonder with a worshipping Christian community encourages our spirituality for sure.
Thank you, St. Paul's, for sharing Dean Robert's talk. I always learn something new from this remarkable man. It is also good to see and hear Fletcher and other members of the Garden Congregation. Judy Beck, Raleigh, NC
How wonderful was it to see this video pop up on my You Tube! Wow, what a beautiful church! Dean Robert, I am thrilled to have seen you this evening in my home. Your encouragement from the Lord came at a much needed time. I imagine you are home back home now, but please know you are loved and appreciated.
Recently while gardening a benediction I heard as a child, came to me in its entirety. I changed the words to personalize it to me. "Over my life may the sunlight of heaven, shine with a glory that nothing can dim, cheering my heart in the grace of God's presence, until I am safely enfolded in Him." What follows after saying those words is "the peace that passeth understanding." Thanks be to God. Happy Trails, y'all! (Bellaire, TX)
It's a Friday evening and thank God for your service in spirituality of mind, body, soul and spirit. Its great to hear DR and Fletcher in the presence of time online and with all people's to really express oneself and by unearthing and acknowledgeing the moments of each day if possible to take time out or even be stopped in your tracks when least expected to feel this presence of spiritual reflection in a deeper meaningful state of mind to be in solitude free from the outside world to be individually living the presence of the Holy Spirit. Its a moving experience that takes time to develop as an individual but so rewarding that it becomes a habit or natural experience or persistent exercise to create new beginnings and feel better for doing what God wants us to do.This is a precious gift that with the presence of DR and Fletcher through the garden congregation over the years has given each individual throughout the world the self recognition to learn and take time out and take part in a charasmatic healing process through prayer in a garden of worship. We need more services like this to really appreciate the true understanding of solitude in self prayer and realization of being a part of God's creation. Thankyou both so much for your works of genuine mercy. Its really appreciated
Thank you for continuing to be such a welcomed blessing to those of us who were faithful members of the Garden Congregation (and who continue to watch reruns many times a week)!
Clemmie and her piglets must miss Dean Robert and Fletcher immensely amen. Dean Robert and the Garden Congregation was truly a Covid Blessing Praise Jesus. Shabbat SHALOM ie Sabbath PEACE.
I had to laugh at your Encouragement example of wrong page in an unfamiliar church. A friend and I were in a church in Poland years ago sitting beside a nun who pointed to the hymnbook page we neglected being on as we neither spoke, read nor Sang Polish. She persisted for a minute as we shook our heads distracting worshipers around us.

This benediction is most beautiful. My mom is 92 and I just read it to her. She cried. ❣
