I put a complete upgrade kit in it from M Carbo. Did it myself with the excellent video provided on their website. Has never missed a beat. Runs like a fine tuned sewing machine.
hi keltec i have the pmr 30 it has been pretty much flawless if instructions are followed.only thing happened yesterday at the range.i have around 400 rounds through it.i use american quality 40gr jhp, been good ammo until about the 5th round in,i believe it was a faulty case or to much powder, it blew crap out the rear and sides plus a lot of smoke out the back and mag well.it blew the decocker button plum off.its still a functioning gun, couldnt find the button or the brass.it still fires fine.brought it home tore it down and inspected it cleaned and put back together, not blaming the gun,but has this happened before? thanks bill
Just got one for $400 NIB. Hated the trigger so bought a fancy red alloy one off ebay. Could not find any information anywhere on how to replace it. It has to be completely taken apart and has several tricky springs not to mention the evil hammer spring. It's not going that well. lol It would be cool if someone would post a close up pic of the feed ramp on the muzzle side showing the tricky spring configuration please. I'm the guinea pig I guess as it seems no one on the internet has attempted to do this. I'll be glad to share tips and experience once I survive this.
problem is with that short of a barrel it would be weak. 22wmr out of a pistol barrel is about the same as a 22lr out of a rifle barrel. 22lr out of a pistol barrel would be even weaker
@@RandyRandersonthefamous what does being weak have to do with anything? there are 1000 .22lr pistols on the market. but none are anywhere near this mag capacity.
@@killervztwogaming5796 Fast forward to September 2019, Kel Tec recently introduced the new P17 which is a 22lr version of the is pistol with a 17 rnd capacity
i'd like to find one first so i could field strip it !!!!! they are like trying to find hen's teeth here in maine.... and if you do find one, they want like 800 bucks for it !!!!
The biggest falsity is the standard "...and it goes back together in the reverse order...". Often it's a hidden step, cocking the firearm / pulling the trigger, pinching / squeezing springs, holding a part out of the way, . . . ☆
You’re spring method is all wrong push the barrel assembly forward and grab the exposed rod then bring the assemble back it frees the rod your method is impossible how can the company that made the gun not know the easiest way to disassemble it. Seriously trying your way made my fingers bleed until I saw another guy do it was easier

That buffer spring is a pain. I finally figured out my own technique to get a hold of it.
Went to the trouble to put this video out and did not slap it back together interesting?
Could you please do a video showing how and where to clean and how and where to oil please.
Extra buffers....?
New to this. How do i change feed spring in handle pmr30

Yes there are complaints about this cheap button coming off.
Taking things apart is easy. Putting them back together....
Just kidding. Love my PMR-30, and my entire stable of Kel-Tec lovelies.
Thanks Chad!
I think your video is mirror imaged. I have to punch my pin out on the other side. You might want to clarify.
um... or it goes in either way.
why would the video being mirrored be your first thought?
my pin is in the oposite direction and will not come out!!! whats up???
I hope you're joking...
That spring doesn’t want to come out as easy as you make it look.
Don't oil it so much! 😂

Update: I survived. Got it back together. Shoots and looks great.
Old post, I know, but what did you hate about the trigger? Mine's far, far too light. Same?
Can anyone recommend a holster for this pistol ? Please
Yes a green dumpster
Too bad it couldn't have used the take down pin like on an AR. That would be awesome and much easier to disassemble.
Best ammo for this weapon???
Douglas and/or Frances Fox 22 magnum or 22 WMR.

I would love to see a .22lr version.

TheJasonrox Your* See what you said was “You are spring method” which would be grammatically incorrect.
