Think they were goin' for the look of a carbon, double-hairpin filament. And the amber glass to get the color temp to around 2200K.

I know that an incandescent is a bad choice when it comes to the wattage usage and what not but I still like the originals better. I think they provide better lighting.

“Last 13 Years”. Wrong. Sure i love LED bulbs but they are NOT going to last that long. Like I’ve seen most LEDs die after 2 years. I have a Great Value warm white bulb now. The only problem is I don’t like the color of it. The old bulbs were 4100K, So it’s probably made by a big company. As most generic Chinese knockoff brand cool whites are 4000K.
